Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. Driving behind a car that suddenly starts reversing because someone in front wants to park. The guy in front reversed pretty fast, so I almost overtook, but FSD automatically reversed too. When there was enough space to park, the car in front kept reversing… I panicked, honked, and then realised FSD was stopping for a cyclist behind me and still handling it perfectly and even backing up more after the cyclist has passed. #Tesla #FSD #knokke

FSD 14.2.2.5 on Mad Max gets pulled over by a State Trooper for speeding 🚔🚨 A few interesting observations: When passing the State Trooper, FSD saw the vehicle and moved over into the left lane to yield more space (albeit without slowing down). When the trooper turned his lights on, FSD did initiate a turn signal as if it was going to pull off onto the shoulder. Unfortunately, I disengaged at this point and didn’t get to see if FSD would’ve actually stopped. Fortunately, only a warning was issued for speeding (allegedly). 🎟️

Was driving on FSD V14.3.1 today and it avoided a couple potholes/manholes. Not sure if it was just mimicking the behavior of the car in front or if it made the decision independently, but either way, FSD avoided it. Btw, love that FSD clips saved directly to your phone now include this FSD data.

So apparently Brussels locals instantly know when you’re NOT driving 😄 FSD awareness is high! This kind gentleman waves me through… but he didn’t spot his colleague waiting on the left to cross. FSD caught everything perfectly. I indicated to him “I’m not the one driving” he immediately understood and smiled. The awareness of FSD is impressive, and so is the positive reaction from people! Great moment for Full Self-Driving! #FSD #Tesla #Brussels

A fun new hobby of mine is taking the Tesla to different areas to see how FSD performs. A few days ago I drove from Long Island to Atlantic City. FSD did 99% of the driving. The traffic was very mixed for most of the trip so I considered it a real challenge. Here are a few interesting moments. First time I had Tesla FSD disengage because of weather. Watch FSD v14.1.7 slow down on a 50 mph two-way road to dodge several bodies of water by partially swerving to the opposing lane. I couldn’t see the standing water in my lane. Not only did FSD see it but also it made proper decision to go around it. The execution was flawless.

FSD prevented a wreck. My MYP was full of people and we were heading to our next stop. The blinker was on for the upcoming turn lane. A red car pulled out in front of us and stopped. FSD kept us safe. I grabbed the wheel after FSD completely stopped out of instinct.

Dad was tooling along with FSD on his Model Y when this fine individual thought he had the right of way, merging into the highway. Dad nor FSD responded to the road rage. FSD saves lives.

Here's a not-so-great Tesla Full Self-Driving moment from last evening. While taking an exit ramp, I think the AEB system activated and the car slowed to 13MPH. I’m not sure if it was reacting to the road, shadowed area, bridge, or lights above. I’m sure it was AEB because the accelerator pedal input was ignored even after FSD was disabled. Thankfully, there was no harm, no foul, as no one was behind us.

FSD took me into the HOV lane yet again today despite me being the only passenger in the car. This time when I yanked it back into non-HOV lane and tried to engage FSD again, it blinked red asking me to take over immediately and displayed a message on screen saying FSD aborted due to system error. I had to drive manually for the rest of the trip. I thought I got a FSD strike but nope, I was all clear. FSD v12.6.4 continues to fail. 👎 Tesla Elon Musk Ashok Elluswamy

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

By far the most unsafe driving by FSD HW#3 in my 8 year experience with it. Navigation gets confused and takes this left instead of the suicide lane next intersection. I was hoping it would slow down to a stop but it did not. The car to the right was thankfully paying attention and acted defensively to prevent an accident! Navigation is the biggest problem of FSD

I mashed the brakes to avoid being involved in the mess, which allowed another driver to use my spot to avoid a potential rear ending. I saw folks slamming the brakes far earlier than I pressed the brakes and waited for FSD to react. It did not.

Well this was a FIRST. FSD sees Emergency vehicle approaching and pulls over to the side of the road. 😳 Then resumes after it’s clear. Just when I think I’ve seen it all. 🤯 @tesla

A cyclist gestured for the FSD to stop and let him cross the road, and the FSD did. It felt so natural that the cyclist probably didn’t realize it was a robot driver.
