i'm not using the next.js app router navigation for contentport anymore, the results are kinda amazing ◆ pages load instantly now ◆ whole app feels way faster ◆ barely any loading states, even on refresh the speed difference is actually wild

@contentport Anyone looking for an early example of this @colinhacks has a blog post here -

Discover the top Safari web extensions to boost productivity, enhance workflow, and customize your browsing experience on Mac, iOS, and iPadOS.

@contentport Does this relate to the SPAs approach from nextjs guide?

@contentport So what does Next.js provide at this point ?

I saw @theo 's "All the ways HTML gets to your browser" and "Why is Next.js so slow??"(Some of his best content for sure!) and I've been thinking about this alot this month. It'd be amazing if you could do a vid about this in your own way of explaining or even a tutorial. Enjoy your content!

@contentport Looking nice! What are you using instead? Made an SPA inside the app router?

@contentport exactly, the nav is now handled by react router entirely. got the idea from theo, works super well

@contentport Same ! I removed route level loaders (using remix) for a sync engine and the app feels much better Starting to think that the server centric approach is an error for productivity apps, sync engines are the way

@contentport good move, but not enough. react router is another bloatware.

@contentport we need a video on this 🤯
