Why is emmerdale destroying charity she use to be feisty she wouldn’t put up with Tod and she definitely wouldn’t be blackmailed. They have made her soft which is actually pathetic. Bring back the charity we know and love.

Thank you for this story. There just isn't enough awareness of what rape is, who can carry it out and the different forms it can take. And there's so much denial, too. For various reasons. Absolute kudos to the actresses and production team for handling it so sensitively.

After subjecting Charity, Vanity fans and sexual assault victims to this ; you need to what's right & give us a Vanity reunion.

The light caught the bottle amount in it & it looked like Charity only had a glass of wine out of it yet constantly gulping on it. She wouldn't pass out with that. All the hype & fell flat.

This story was not needed. Shocked that it was shown at a time when kids would have been watching. Having been SA it was uncomfortable to watch! Now I read she’s leaving does that mean she’ll get away with it! Those words “I’m nothing like you” were triggering!

I cringed when Todd sleazed over Charity when she was unconscious, thankfully we didn't see the assault,j just heardthe sound of the zip. shudder

I think I was one of the few in a minority who was not convinced by last night's episode, not by the sexual assault storyline, because it is an important subject to explore, but by how much Charity had to drink and was still able to hold a coherent conversation with Dr Todd.
