Quite frankly I’m ashamed to be an Emmerdale fan! Why couldn’t someone of just seen Tom beating Belle? What a ridiculous storyline, spoiled what should have been a very important storyline of domestic abuse. Not amused

That has gotta be one of the worst episodes in a long time… turned a great story about manipulation into a complete farce Fraiser would have been proud of.. 🤦🏼

advice and support? are you taking the piss? you just slapped all the abuse victims in the face with this joke of a storyline and you have the nerve to put a support link in your post

Undoubtedly this will all end with vindication of Belle, but to throw in this whole twist cheapens your entire narrative that this is a storyline for the victims and to help victims.

Sack your writers. Turning this domestic violence storyline into this farce is abhorrent. #emmerdale @emmerdale

This is such a slap in the face for abuse victims. Do you really think victims watching will come forward to report abuse after watching this? You’ve dragged this on for months, and instead of bringing this to a positive conclusion to encourage reporting of abuse, you do this.

Had Belle called the police straight away, not only would they have seen her injuries, they would have seen him lying there with the gun, its ended up with a ridiculous storyline and totally unbelievable, so disappointing

My wife’s a Domestic Violence Support Worker and is disgusted how this storyline has dragged out. Started out as The Shining, now Halloween-next week I Know What You Did Last Summer

That went from one of best episodes ever to an utter joke of an episode tonight. How could you get that so wrong!
