So a week later I’m at the pump again. I filled up at the Circle K, I want to see how long a tank filled here lasts, if it makes a real difference if I go to a better branded gas station like Marathon. I used to only pay $40-$50 a week and now it’s $90 for less than a week. Anyone else noticing a difference lately? I’m always surprised by this at American gas stations: The cost. In Europe in general, but especially Scotland and the rest of the UK, our gas is expensive. I estimate gas in the US is about half the cost and it’s always a nice surprise. No wonder you are all happy to drive huge vehicles, and I would too.

Ever since E15 became a thing, I think my gas mileage has been getting much lower than I am used to. However in this case I had 87 in here and on 87 I get 18.7 miles a gallon. In my other video it shows I am getting well j to the 20’s because I am on 93 grade. The difference is decent enough to notice. But even on 93 I remember I used to get around 30mpg. That’s why I am convinced that since many gas stations now are allowed to use a higher ethanol mix, it burns quicker, leaving me with worst gas mileage. Let me know if you’ve had this happen to you too and what grade you use. I would love to know that I’m not the only one who sees this.
