The whole 4 minute monologue is something I’ve rewatched too many times. I love the way Forest says “back and forth” while telling the Onderon story. Muhannad does not get enough credit for this scene either. This scene gets me so damn pumped up.

Things I’ve come to realise since moving here. The only person I’ve truly loved and loved me was my Mum. People pretend to be happy for you but are roiling with jealousy. I have only really been happy alone. I’m alone but not lonely. 7 years of violent SA as a child has made me the strong, independent person I am. Men will never be women. The Ladyboys here think the situation in the West is dangerous for Women. I will die alone but happy. I am blessed.

jaehyun.. 🥹 🐶 no… everyone! it’s not like i’m pretending to be calm about doing a challenge with jungkook sbn, of course i’m the most nervous! of course i want to do it the most! do you think i don’t know that? sbn might be going on tour soon, so we might not even get to film it… but the reason i keep being careful and avoiding talking about it is because it could feel like a burden to him. and if i keep bringing it up, it might make army uncomfortable too… so i’m just trying to be careful and stay quiet about it. 🐶 and it’s not like i have sbn’s phone number or anything, so i can’t contact him directly, so i asked through the company instead. and honestly, even just that alone is such an honour to me. every moment this week has been so exciting and i’ve been really happy. 🐶 i should probably stop bringing it up now… i feel sorry.. to army as well… let’s just keep it comfortable… okay…

While I do have my issues with the Digital Circus finale, this one scene stuck out to me with incredible reliability. To me, this scene represents what my relationship with Christ has been at multiple times in my life. I had thoroughly convinced myself that I was undeserving of His love and acceptance, and that I’d rather be left alone to wallow in my own misery. Thankfully He didn’t give up on me, and loved me despite my past flaws and mistakes. That’s instantly where my mind went when watching this in the theater for the first time a couple weeks ago, and has continued to stick in my mind since. How blessed I am to have a Savior who will always come for me, to show me His love even when I’ve messed up and don’t deserve it. That kind of love is what pushes me to be more like Christ every day, and while I’m not perfect, I hope to do my best. 🥹
