This is what happens when you bet ON Elon Musk. I’d rather be on this side 100 times out of 100. Tonight I’m sitting in a beautiful home in the heart of Austin, a brand-new black Tesla Model Y outside, with my family right beside me… and tomorrow I’ll be there for the Cybercab event. One of the most important - if not THE most important - moments in Tesla’s history. I’m taking this one in. Bc this is personal to me. I still remember the people who told me I’d be nobody. The people who told me I was betting on the wrong person. The people who said Tesla would fail, Elon would fail, and eventually I’d lose everything. I heard all of it. People shit on me left, right, and center my whole life. And now I’m here. Not because the road was easy. It was NOT. It was in fact really damn hard. I’m here today bc I stayed convicted. I stayed disciplined. I kept going when it would’ve been so much easier to doubt myself, listen to everyone else, and give up. And now, the night before Cybercab, I’m sitting here soaking it all in and remembering when everyone told me this day would NEVER come. The Cybercab is here. The whole 4 minute monologue is something I’ve rewatched too many times. I love the way Forest says “back and forth” while telling the Onderon story. Muhannad does not get enough credit for this scene either. This scene gets me so damn pumped up.

Things I’ve come to realise since moving here. The only person I’ve truly loved and loved me was my Mum. People pretend to be happy for you but are roiling with jealousy. I have only really been happy alone. I’m alone but not lonely. 7 years of violent SA as a child has made me the strong, independent person I am. Men will never be women. The Ladyboys here think the situation in the West is dangerous for Women. I will die alone but happy. I am blessed.

Lioness is a show I’m considering watching. I’m always the one giving you guys recommendations but maybe for once someone can tell me if I should start this show or not. I’m leaning towards “yes” because Taylor Sheridan entertained the Hell out of me with The Agency & he has his hands all over this show too. I also think the cast is excellent (multiple Oscar winners, including Morgan Freeman). Has anyone seen this & can you tell me if I should fire it up or not?
