I’m removing gambling…

I was considering taking up gambling until you removed it from the game. Thanks for that. I've decided to launch myself out of a cannon instead.

Genuinely love this game, and absolutely understand why you have to do this. I think the carnival style games is a good idea. You could have the prize tickets upgrade the games around in fact. So say for instance, one of the prize games you could play is 'Throw the hoop on the penguin' But with enough tickets, the penguins can turned into little polar bears, frogs, ect. Or the sacks you through, you could change those from ticket buys. Imagine a whack a mole style game, but that too you could earn tickets, but also use those tickets to change the 'mole' to other funny things. Another thought for tickets is a weather machine. You could spend a large sum of tickets to make the snow come down in the whole game. Blizzard, light, sleet. And 'sleet' makes everyone suffer ice physics for a short while. Finally, and this would be an extra system to add, would be 'inventory'. Everyone could have 2 inventory slots. Simple stuff could be picked up and collected. But with tickets, you could buy stuff. Bug net, an extra snowball, a snowman suit that makes you stand still and look like a snowman, and other things! Hope this helps, I love this game a lot and look forward to what more you add~

In addition to the fair games idea, you could maybe have like pinball, and have checkers set up at some of the tables. Also one of these guys

The idea of "I don't want to get people addicted to gambling" when your game doesn't use real money seems a bit strange. Moreso Balatro a game entirely about gambling has a rating of E 10+. Whoever told you it would be 18 up for having it is wrong.

Personally, I think this is absolutely a good move. During the demo, it turned into people just wanting to join lobbies to build particle accelerators, then go inside and gamble. It kinda spoiled the spirit of the entire game. So, I'm all for a more wholesome carnival type game!

Good for you. This was a responsible choice. Carnival games and tickets might be a nice way to buy cosmetics. Hats, scarves, maybe posters that appear on the wall. Just a thought.

Or, here me out, you double down on the gambling aspect and have a 2nd version of the game that is 18+

Just replace the roulette with a carnival wheel that has numbers that you can bet tickets on and if you get right you win a prize. It's totally not just a colorful roulette wheel and is totally not gambling, carnivals has them and it's somehow legal.

Sure! Sure, add in an arcade that would fit perfectly. Could even model off of FFXIV’s golden saucer where the “gambling” is just arcade games and you can’t lose currency ever. However, I think you should add horse racing and fishing instead.
