I'm seeing it everywhere... 'Tom quit!" Absolute hogwash. It couldn't be more clear, he got poked in BOTH eyes. That was straight out of the Three Stooges. I think most people agree he lost that first round, but to suggest he quit or looked for a way out is absurd.

I think this is probably the first time I've seen an adult show so much concern over a child being a Gundam pilot. At first, I found it funny that he was crying because he couldn't believe he lost to a child, but the more I heard him talk, the more I felt what he meant and understood what he was going through. Üso is supposed to be playing with toys, but he's out here in a war, piloting a killing machine and holding a gun in his hand. He's still new to this, but the more he gets involved in war, the crazier it will get for him. I guess I'm back to the classic Universal Century stuff. I have to prepare myself...

I was AG Paxton’s lawyer during the failed attempt to impeach him. I studied every piece of evidence. I cross examined the key witnesses. It quickly became apparent to me that the entire effort was sloppily thrown together by those he opposed—the old guard, the establishment. Their hope was that with unsupported, salacious allegations, along with a compliant and willing media, Paxton would quit. He would not quit. He will not quit. He will never quit. The totality of the impeachment evidence was nothing more than junk. And it didn’t take much effort to expose it. In the process I came to know Ken Paxton. He is thoughtful, strategic, and brilliant. He will be a damn fine senator for our state. Most of the attacks you see now are being made by the same people he soundly defeated in the impeachment. They lost then, and they will lose again. Go vote.

I think he was honest in terms of his objectives. He said he could save money for the taxpayer, that should be a bipartisan activity. I believe it was. I thought he brought forward into the taxpayer's psyche a new idea of auditing government in perpetuity, which I find extremely interesting because no one's ever done it quite that way. What he did experience is what most people do. Washington is a very nasty place, and the closer you get to the sun, the more your feathers get burned. That's for everybody. He found out the hard way. I thought he did a masterful job and most people, even though lots were offended by the speed at which he went at it or maybe the way he implemented it, taxpayers would like to save money, period.

Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. This is Liam Stanton, he wants to be the next Mayor of Chicago. Personally I don’t think he has a chance but crazier things have happened. In this video he makes some sense but also seems to suggest that these cameras in areas of the city are where non-white ppl live. He didn’t say it but he said it. I suggest checking him out if you’re interested in Chicago politics, I am not endorsing him I am simply saying that he doesn’t come off as a complete left-wing nut case & that in itself is impressive.
