I’m seeing #Michael tonight & I’m really excited. Review’s going up this evening as well. A reminder that the gold standard for music biopics is Ray. Jamie Foxx’s Oscar-winning performance in this film has yet to be topped by another music biopic. This was more than acting.

Michael Jackson’s music videos were Cinema. No one on Earth made music videos like this man. He drove MTV by himself. The way MJ cared so deeply about the details of his work is why he’s the King of Pop. I don’t usually get excited for biopics, but I’m excited for this one.

🐿️ the thing i’m looking forward to the most is the music video! 🐧 the music video is going to be really fun! that is actually the thing i’m looking forward to the most in this comeback 🐿️ me too! 🐧 we’ve filmed it already and i think it’s going to be fun 🤭 🐿️ it’s not too complicated and i think people will connect with the story 🐧 you’ll understand the mv as soon as you watch it so i think moas will really enjoy it! 🐿️ it captures the members’ beauty well and it’s done really well, it was filmed in a hurry but it came out really well 🐿️ there have actually been a lot of songs that amazed me once i watched the music video 🐿️ i haven’t even watched the full completed version yet and i’m still really excited for it

Best in Show is one of the first “mockumentaries” I can ever remember seeing. Catherine O’Hara couldn’t be funnier in this film. It’s not possible. This entire cast is amazing & this film is a throwback to the early ‘00s. I’m really going to miss O’Hara. We lost a giant.
