I want to clarify something about posting about the statues or figures. I don't sell the Resident Evil products, statues, or figures that I post. I only share information and links about new pre-orders that might interest the community, as I'm also a collector. Many large Resident Evil community accounts also share them, both licensed and unlicensed. I also help inform the community on how to get official Resident Evil merchandise from Japan by translating for them. is one of the largest statue shops out there (they're a shop, they don't manufacture the figures), and I've also bought from their site before and received the figure. If people are curious, they can just check out the studio's other statues/busts on the Orzgk website or at other reputable retailers that also sell the SAME figure. You can also wait for the first photos and/or videos of the statues in person; many studios provide these to retailers after pre-orders close. In case they cancel the project, they'll refund your money in full. So, to everyone who insults me, do your research before accusing me of sharing potential "scams" or creating the "conceptual" images that the studio shares of its products. I don't use AI in my posts or in the edits I make (posters, collages, etc.). I'm playing around with generative AI tools and stitching them together into visual stories. Here I took the first few sentences of Pride and Prejudice and made it into a video. The gen stack used for this one: - Anthropic Claude took the first chapter, generated the scenes and the individual prompts to to the image generator. - Ideogram took the prompts and generate the images - Luma took the images and animated them - for narration - VEED | AI Video Creation to stitch it together (Many of these choices are just what I happened to use for this one while exploring a bunch of things). Anyway honestly it was pretty messy and there is a ton of copy pasting between all of the tools, and even this little video with 3 scenes took me about an hour. There is a huge storytelling opportunity here for whoever can make this convenient. Who is building the first 100% AI-native movie maker?

After testing every AI toolchain for a year, this is the only workflow I'm endorsing: Figma → Claude Code (Sonnet 4.5) Here's how I'm building Lorelight: 1. Design the happy path in Figma 2. Feed it to Claude Code via Figma MCP 3. Get a strong foundation in 15 minutes 4. Spend the next 50+ hours iterating (still design work) The design/dev loop that used to be isolated is finally closing. I even built a complete design system in within minutes. Custom components, living documentation, accessibility rules all from the Figma designs. If you're measuring the effectiveness of these tools by whether they can "one-shot" a design, you're consuming too many AI hype commercials. Log off. Then go actually build something with your hands. With AI. With your taste. Stop trying to "one-shot" good shit. And go make stuff with the new tools. For designers who want to ship real products, this is the stack that's getting it done.

I use these tools every day. I’m one of the biggest advocates of AI. I do NOT fear it. I leverage it. I appreciate what Figma is trying to do here. Good intentions to help designers build faster. Make the design easier and accessible for everyone. And of course, meanwhile, profit from It. it is a business after all and it is perfectly fine. While I was watching Dylan generate detailed designs from a prompt, I started seeing aspiring designers getting attached to these tools and having everything easy, ready, quick… and a series of questions started to arise in my mind; * ➟ Are we going to see a generation of designers who lack resilience and love/appreciation for craft? ➟ Designers who are easily hurt and seek help from AI tools every time a client raises a criticism for the proposed design? ➟ Are these designers going to blame AI tools for the outcome and not take accountability for it? ➟ Perhaps they will go back to the AI input and generate 20+ options for clients in 5 mins without thinking instead of talking to the client, understanding the product positioning and actually thinking/exploring/working for the best design solution? ➟ Are we going to see lazier designers? and weak, giving up, getting frustrated easily? * Dylan says ”This tool helps us to get past the blank canvas problem” Blank canvas is one of the best parts of this work. A creator recently stress-tested Nano Banana Pro, Kling, and Seedance 2.0 on this RISKY video project. Midway through production, Seedance 2.0 tightened its filters so aggressively that outputs it generated days earlier were suddenly blocked. Same prompts. Same workflow. Different results overnight. They had to fall back to older APIs and manual image-to-video seeding just to maintain visual consistency across the project. This is happening across every major model. Filters get stricter after launch, not before. The capabilities you test on day one aren't guaranteed on day thirty. If you're building any creative workflow around AI generation tools, you need to know this: the models you're relying on today are not the same models you'll have access to next quarter. Document your workflows. Save your outputs. And stop assuming the tools will stay as open as they are right now.
