I'm starting a new procgen game project, and want to showcase as I develop it this year: a pretty ambitious game with ye olde (but realistic) towns. Here's after the first few hours!

In the past few years I've pivoted towards more and more technical roles, and helped to Art Direct/develop a few games... so I've got lots of #gamedev goodies + art to share this year🤠

Also, this video (and much of my recent work) is made utilising insanely underappreciated @ApparanceUK middeware, which everyone should check out.

This looks a lot like what we've been doing this morning with @DungeonAlchemi1. :) Good luck!

@ElDavidVille I love when my brain sees gifs like these and just auto adds sound effects. It added spring noise to fully closing the room xD

@ElDavidVille That's exactly what's driving me lately, procedural visuals that tickle the brain just right.. who needs sound effects really

Very cool! Are you linetracing from cursor and placing a spline that you place spline meshes on? I am trying to build a corridor creation tool in ue5 using geometry scripting and its driving me nuts.

Yep! Linetracing, simplifying the lines (posted the snippet in another reply), and then I use Apparance to place the meshes along that line.
