I’m sure all will agree this is absolutely scandalous…… Overtaking the cyclist just before turning left was unacceptable…..

This meant the police could not charge him for driving-related charges as he could not officially be identified - despite the video evidence,” Chris said. Instead he was prosecuted for ‘failing to nominate driver. He was given a £300 fine, plus £332 in costs and six points. Despite the employee refusing to take responsibility for the crash, Tesco admitted liability in the insurance claim.”

Cyclists' complete lack of a sense of preservation never ceases to amaze me.

@atomwa77en This occasion definitely not cyclist fault

The driver's mistakes were in turning suddenly with no indication. We don't know whether the cyclist would have yielded priority if he knew the driver was about to turn. It looked like he was determined not to drop his speed.

So it’s drivers fault on this occasion

Cyclist has absolutely no awareness of what is happening around them. Not their fault BUT the van didn’t accelerate past. It is almost as if the cyclist knows they will turn left but is trying to make a point 🤡🤡

Wow

Why is the cyclist speeding, why didn't he approach the junction with caution, why does he want everyone else to look out for his safety even though he couldn't care less about his.

Wooow … I’m one of the harshest on cyclists … This is no way his fault .. Driver all day long

Bad driving. He didn’t know where his turn was. Saw it late and turned without thinking. I have put a car in its roof doing that. You learn to miss the turn and go round again for another go.

I’ve left, I’m not sure if I’ll make my flight but this is just nuts.
