My dog did the same thing, pressing her nose into one spot, the area with cancer was so small that it amazes me she smelled it. The cancer was removed and so far my dog has not alerted me to any more questionable areas. Pebbles is my first alarm. I love my little dog.

There's evidence that dogs can smell cancers in a person. It would be an excellent early warning method

@FLCons My dog Raider a miniature schnauzer suffered a seizure at 2 yrs old. I was there for him whenever he had one. But what made him special was when I was diagnosed w/stress seizures. He would lay behind me, he knew when I was having one & he would cuddle on my lap until it passed.

Dogs have been proven to be able to smell certain cancers… there is a certain smell it emits and for some reason, dogs can detect it.

I used to use a pub that had a pet Shitzu. I was unaware of the tumour on my right kidney, and this dog would come sit right next to me and keep pawing my side. After I'd had it removed, he'd not have anything to do with me. So I do think there's something in this.

There are dog breeds who are trained to smell skin cancer and tumors. I cracked up when I read Schnauzers were used……I’ve owned some pretty goofy confused Schnauzers 🤦🏻‍♀️
