I’m testing out Viggle and while it has weak spots like motion jitter, and lower fidelity, it has one of the closest approximations to a reusable Ai assets I’ve used. I’ll do a longer multi shot test and see what I can get away with on camera movement.

I had the opportunity to test Skywork —thanks to the kind provision of access. I tried out the new “slides” feature and produced a video showing how I use it. You can see the result for yourself: one shot, it worked right away. What used to take hours of research and transferring everything into a PowerPoint presentation can now be done in a few minutes. At the Giga Texas Test Track, we see some of it is being used now, with railed lanes, a long line of rumble strips, paint marks & cones … these are in the area where I showed a ground video yesterday of Cybercabs testing with acceleration runs. I’ve included a portion of that video in this one showing the location on the track. Speaking of Cybercab testing, we see 7 set up along with a trailer, that looks like the LIDAR testing rigs that usually we see on the roofs of vehicles driving around streets for camera validation testing & more in what seems to be a temporary dedicated testing facility until a more permanent one is completed. Still more asphalt work to complete the inner portions fo the track, but it is definitely partially operational now and being used! Very nice to see!

So Cybertruck has never had summon (move forward or backward with the Tesla app) like most Tesla’s. It Especially didn’t have Actual Smart Summon (A.S.S.) which means you can call it to you for let’s say if it’s raining and you parked far away. So I go to test it while my wife needed a couple items at Walmart. I work out the settings and then it’s saying unavailable etc. I finally work it all out and get to the door at Walmart and realize I need my wife to film since I’m using my phone to test ASS. After texting and pacing at the front door of Walmart with lots of humidity (and I’m now sweating and getting looked at like a person about to kidnap someone) since I’m like a kid at Christmas given a gift and told don’t open it yet. Finally, she comes out and it comes and does the job perfectly. She says you can edit all that out and I’m like no it’s perfect. It sums up 3 decades of marriage. I was so giddy I forgot to WORD at the end. This is gonna be fun!

I’m really proud of a lot of the shots I have been able to achieve lately with the adherence to prompts getting so good it’s a level of creative control I e been dying for and really starting to make me actual dreams come true for just myself working with these tools! Prompting is such a unique and creative aspect of what we all do in AI. Knowing when to prompt long form and when not to, what keyword tokens and how they are applied in sequence, structure and formatting, they all matter. Especially with the models not needing extensive prompts, that’s actually where you can shine with how you use it because sometimes simpler is better but in other instances extensive motion/movement detail can be the difference maker for a cool shot or a spectacular one. I’ve been focusing a lot on shot development prompts and structure testing and I’ve managed to find a sweet spot. I’m Gonna put together a little rundown on how I did some of mine next week for this film. 🙌😎🔥💯🎥

I want to put a worthy project before you and explain why I’m backing it, and why I may eventually have some personal involvement in it. “Deceived: The Ruin of the Modern Woman: A Christian Exploration and Confrontation of Feminism.” Here’s the Kickstarter: There is a longer trailer on the Kickstarter, but I've also attached the shorter conceptual trailer. First, the project itself: it’s a documentary by a Christian director examining the history and consequences of feminism and offering a biblical alternative. Second, here’s why I’m backing it. I’ve known Les Lanphere, the director, for a while, and I know him to be both a talented filmmaker and a principled Christian man. I trust him to tackle this subject biblically and with intensity, but without unnecessary harshness or shock-jockery. I also believe this is one of the defining issues of our day, and it’s one I’ve worked hard to address for most of my adult life. Feminism has obviously affected men and society as a whole, but now that I’m the father of three daughters and have a daughter-in-law, I’ve become even more concerned about what it has robbed women of: the beauty of their unique, God-given design and purpose in His world. So, for me, this is a trustworthy creator tackling a crucial subject in which I’m personally invested. I’m not yet sure to what extent I’ll eventually be involved in the documentary itself, but I backed the project for $300 today, and I’ll probably increase that once I’ve had a little more time to consider it. In the meantime, I want to challenge 50 of you to back the project for at least $5 each. That may not sound like much, but it helps. And the more people who get behind the project and follow its progress, the more attention it can gain. Even if you can only give a few dollars, you can play a real part by backing it, following it, and helping get the word out.

I asked Astra to create a Catan game in three.js and it came out incredibly well. I played it, and the animations make it so much fun. The instructions and info cards make the game easy to learn. It even has AI players and trading. Astra used another game I had started building as a reference. The more games I build, the more skills and assets I have for the next one. It can remix the UI, 3D models, pages, and sounds instead of rebuilding everything. Now I want to see how many other board games I can make from this foundation.

OK. You wanna see something amazing? Google AI has put together an extraordinary tool where you can put AI and learning to use. I'm a HUGE audio learner so I wanted to give it a test. I gave Google Notebook LLM the Federal Register (from today) and then produced a podcast based on the content. It's pretty cool how it comes out. I uploaded the FedReg and told it what to do and it composed a 9-minute podcast with two hosts about the crazy stuff our govt does every day.
