To be clear, it wasnt truly one prompt but it took under 10 prompts and it did most of it in 1 prompt, the rest were tweaks. I didnt use any skills for this, just vanilla claude Opus 5.5.

GAMING = SOLVED (v2) - Opus 5.5 is CRACKED!!! RocketLeagueBench is basically saturated at this point. I received a lot of hate mail from the Rocket League community over the last video I made, but its serious cope. You might think AI created games are bad, or can only look good if they reference existing material, but you're wrong. Even if we say that they're not great now, I think it's pretty clear that we're <12 months away from being able to make games indistinguishable from major studios. All it takes is a bit of time, taste, and prompting and you can honestly build some crazy ish right now. Whether or not something already exists is fairly immaterial. If you can describe it well enough, you can build it. This is by far the best looking Rocket League clone I've ever made. Unbelievable. Opus 5.5 drove this end-to-end, including the cinematic video you see here. The map is insanely good. The Octane meshes and audio were imported, but the rest was entirely generated by Opus (physics based on RocketSim). The best part? It only used 3% of my Weekly usage (x20 plan). It was very slow though. It took about 2 hours for the initial pass, and then about 8-10 prompts to get to this point you see now. Far from perfect but it's only been a day ;) Enjoy!

I've built a new home for my projects here, and in advance of my next major release with Transient Labs on June 16th, I want to share what I've made with you all, and open a dialogue about how we can use these tools as artists to enhance the experience of making and sharing our art. Forget threejs demos, Opus 5.5 is *incredible* at building apps. This is Letters Abroad, a language-learning app I'm working on. You exchange letters with an AI pen pal, and learn a language through context (plus some brain science magic). (also built by Opus, of course) I've been tinkering with this the last week. I built a prototype with Astra, but wasn't happy with the design. Tried Fable, still wasn't good enough. Then Opus 5.5 dropped. In a few hours, I've made more progress on the visuals than in a week of burning tokens. This model is insane. It reads my mind and nails it every time. All the gorgeous 3D models and fluid transitions are thanks to Opus. Crazy idea, prompt, repeat. No more quota anxiety, just non-stop flow state. I'll be writing about my prompts/skills/learnings from building this. Lots to share; this generation of models is absolutely game-changing for design!

It’s so strange to come up with an idea in isolation but when the real world and the beautiful people within it radiate that idea in real life right back at you it blows my mind. Whoever you are in this video, thank you for this experience I will remember it for the rest of my life. You really hit me right in between the eyes Remember everything is within you. The strength is within you. The answers are within you. Don’t give all the credit to another. You got this. I ended up being the co-founder of a company called PayPal where -- and the initial founding vision was that we were going to use technology to change the whole world and basically overturn on the monetary system of the world. And, you know, we can debate on how much it succeeded or how little it succeeded. And there were parts of it that I think have worked, and parts of it were, you know, the jury is still out. But the basic idea was that we could never win an election on getting certain things. Because we were in such a small minority. But maybe you could actually unilaterally change the world without having to constantly convince people and beg people and plead with people who are never going to agree with you through a technological means. And this is where I think technology is this incredible alternative to politics. And, you know, there are a number of different technologies we can outline, but the task in this world where politics has become so broken and so dysfunctional is to find a way to escape from it. It's not a way to fix it. It is a way to escape. And there are, you know, a number of different options. I think the promising one of the 1990s and this last decade has been to escape onto the Internet and to sort of create an alternate virtual reality. Questions, of course, is still how does it intersect with the real world? There are, I think, escaping to outer space is a promise, although I think the space technology is not quite there. So I think that's sort of for the second half of the 21st century. I think we can try to, you know, create autonomous countries on oceans, underwater, all sorts of other spaces. But I think technology is the vehicle for how we should be looking to escape and move beyond politics as we find it today.”

How I get shit done, Episode 001 I've set up a playbook called ‘land’, which is triggered automatically when I drag an issue into the merging column in Linear. That reliably runs CI and merges any green PRs. This has allowed me to ship way faster than before. I think the key takeaway here is you can try to build your own code factory and your own agent orchestration layer, but it is a huge amount of work. The truth is there are entire companies with massive funding that are already tackling this and it's just easier to use their platform. I think this is a lot like if you were a carpenter: you could build your own generator, fuel it, wire it up, and then build a plug and then you could plug your saw into it. Or you could just plug your saw into the wall. Because the electricity company has already done all the work in the infrastructure and investment to make that plug work. I think more of us who are building companies should just be plugging into the wall instead of trying to build all this tooling ourselves. As a dev it's so tempting to build your own dev tools but I think a lot of times, even though you can build fast with agents now, it's a complete waste of time. It probably sounds like I'm being paid by Devin or something but I have zero financial interest here. They don't give me credits. I'm not an investor. I'm not being paid. I just think the tooling is really damn good. If you used Devin a long time ago and wrote it off, you really should have another look - for $500/month it's pretty obscene what you can get done.

carlos praising fernando alonso and spanish sports 🇪🇸❤️ 🗣️: what would it feel for you two (carlos and fernando) to give that joy of the world championship in f1 to the spanish people? carlos: well, i think fernando is the right guy to answer this question because he's had the pleasure and the success to give that joy to spanish people, to me when i was following f1 and i was his biggest fan and his biggest supporter and i can only say, yeah, it must be an incredible feeling. i've had my little experience of it by giving a win to spain in f1 and that was, when i heard the national spanish anthem, probably the most emotional moment of my career, standing on the top of the podium, hearing your anthem with your flag behind you, i think that is the thing that any driver or any athlete dreams about. and, yeah, i think we are incredibly lucky in spain. well, you could say lucky, but when you have so many athletes in so many disciplines that are so good for such a relatively small country, it cannot be luck. it needs to be that we are investing well in infrastructure around sports. and when you look and you go to the smallest village in spain, you still see a 25-metre swimming pool, you see a 400-metre running track, you see a football pitch, you see a basketball pitch, you see all kinds of olympic installations, and that's in the smallest village you can imagine. so i think we are a country that invests a lot in sports, and from a very young age. and in the end, it pays off, and it makes me a proud spaniard to see that such a relatively small country is so well represented in any kind of discipline, from motorsports to motogp to tennis to football, masculine and feminine. i don't know. i think we are a very successful country in that way, and it makes me proud.
