Nasty experience! That's when you realise how easily some people can break down / give up. Was stuck for close to 40min the other year and two ladies and one guy collapsed - I hate those things! Wish they'd somehow factored in two big ventilation holes in case of emergency.

This happened to me once, not a nice feeling at all. One moment you realise you stuck, the next you can’t breathe.

Getting stuck in an elevator is not a good thing, I experienced it once and I nearly passed out because of fear of the unknown. They are even lucky that there was electricity, mine was a total blackout, oh God it was a nightmare.

So they thought overloading is ok but being stuck is wrong 🤷🏾‍♂️

Thanks to comments I now know lifts get stuck from carrying too many people. No more squeezing in. Stairs will do when risky.

I don't wish to be stuck in a lift...i still have fear when i take lift. I got stuck in my flat's lift last year. Loadshedding kicked when i was in a lift alone, and the just stuck in between the floors, opened the inside door right through walls😂😂. I screamed so loud !!

i mean what they expect. those things are designed to carry a particular load or number of people. serves them well
