Former governance team member at Open AI Daniel Kokotajlo says humans “might not be alive in ten years”, in a stark warning about the dangers of the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. Speaking to Channel 4 News, he said, “if we end up with AIs that don't care about humans in the same way that humans don't care about animals”, humans could “lose their habitat and die off”.
