Washington state has been seeing drier & hotter summers, which means longer & more dangerous fire seasons. We can't stand on the sidelines—especially as climate change threatens to make things even worse. We need more federal action to prevent, mitigate, & respond to wildfires.

Opening up huge new fossil fuel projects in 2023 is morally indefensible. Governments cannot say they're taking climate change seriously & keep issuing these approvals. We must take climate science seriously and act now to protect the future of the people and places we love.
