It was the same amount of "product" it just seems shorter because 90 percent of commercials are gone, So they actually fit 2.5 hours worth of material into 2.5 hours. Instead of it being 3 hours because of 30 minutes of commercials throughout the show.

My question is then why are some saying that talent was unhappy with Penta and Gable’s match + Penta’s promo running long and that other segments had to be cut short if there is no set runtime now? Why would anything need to be cut if they can keep the show going?

I would always find myself seeing the time running down and saying, “Well the finsher is about to happen”. I think its so much better this way. Plus, if it ends early, it gives you 30 more minutes to do things to wind down for the night. You were already going to be up lol🤷‍♂️
