Immigration used to be a working-class issue. Workers saw it as competition for jobs, housing, hospital beds, and every other government benefit. Milton Friedman said it plainly: you cannot have open immigration and a welfare state. The welfare state turns into a magnet, pulling more people into a government... system where the pie is fixed. Every new claimant takes from someone who was already there. Either benefits get cut, or taxes go up, and the working class always pays. That’s why the political class now scapegoats the rich. While visiting family I went shopping and couldn’t believe the prices for products that used to be inexpensive. Unless you’re a criminal, an illegal or a bum, you can’t live in California anymore. We need to fund public schools in this country, especially in working-class neighborhoods. Dismissing AOC for talking about the rich in terms that a majority of Americans agree with is a mistake. The idea that the system is rigged to benefit the rich and that the working class up to the middle-class cannot get ahead is one of the most salient political arguments. Trump used to make it himself! Then gamed the system for himself and his friends - including the fraudsters he’s pardoned - of course.

Late-stage welfare statism is claiming disability for acne and food intolerance. But that’s the incentive of the welfare state and that’s how you end up with some 25% of the population claiming disability. Of course people are going to game the system. It’s free money, and it’s other people’s money. So the government has zero incentive to spend less or spend it wisely. And the parasites have every incentive to grab as much as they can. This is what legal plunder produces. A society that disincentivizes production and incentivizes parasitism. One where claiming disability for fucking acne becomes a rational move.

Dear “Take Back Power”, You claim to speak for the working class? Well, here’s a tip from a working class woman: Throwing custard and crumble at a display cabinet isn’t effective protest. It’s a waste of food. Especially when working families are being taxed through the teeth to support the economically inactive, “millionaire” pensioners are freezing to death in their homes because their only income is a state pension, and “rich” farmers are losing the homes and farms they’ve built for generations. You claim the rich are hoarding wealth. And yet the top 13 per cent of our population currently supports the other 87 per cent (via taxes). You want to take even more from those people and expect them to stay? Oh, but never mind. Let’s give an extra tenner to every person on benefits as “Christmas Bonus” and scrap the two-child benefit cap while lower middle class families are being pushed into poverty by the tax hikes that are being used to fund these handouts. “Tax the rich” only works in countries where the ‘rich’ aren’t already paying some of the highest levels of taxes in the Western world. You aren’t cultural disruptors. You are out-of-touch ignoramuses. And I guarantee none of the people on working class estates like mine are thanking you for throwing custard at a cabinet.

There's always been this kind of hyperventilating rightly so over protecting middle class workers.. unless they work for the government, then they don't count. Then they're not real Americans. All of a sudden, their jobs are disposable. You can cut them off immediately. That is a different type of elitism that has now crept into the right where there's elitism against working class people who have civil service jobs. When I was growing up, for black people, people of color, civil service jobs was one of the only ways to get into the middle class.

Let me see if I've got the jist of it: 🧐 • The government creates an entire class of people that live off of hard working Americans, which thanks to globalists now includes migrants and illegal aliens. • They punish this class of people if they get married or find legal jobs just to keep them dependent on the government, while concurrently punishing anyone trying to live independently. • Welfare abuse has always been a thing...but strangely our timeline has been conveniently inundated with videos of people bragging about it. • Now because the government is shut down and nobody cares (and you best believe both parties knew this was coming) we've got more videos, this time of people threatening to riot and loot that authorities suspiciously also aren't looking into for some reason. You do realize they're pitting working class people against the societal parasites they've purposely created for generations as a distraction to everything awful the government is doing, the money they're stealing, the children they're trafficking, the wars they're starting, the poisons they're pumping, and the shut down no one gives a sh*t about, right? They want a civil war, so we don't have the revolution we actually need. They want you emotionally riled up, so you continue to feed their life draining negativity system....and more importantly they need you to plead for them to open the government back up so both parties can continue looting the treasury. Sanders: What we have here, and it’s a real issue, is that if you’re progressive, you can go out there and give a great speech, fine. You’re saying all the right things. You’re right on the issues. Great. Can you run a government? Can you be a good mayor? Can you be a good governor? All right. And what Mamdani is doing is showing that you can have a democratic socialist, progressive ideology and run a city. You know what? New York City had really serious snowstorms. It meant that people couldn’t get to work, kids couldn’t get to school, ambulances couldn’t get people to the hospital. You know what he did? He got the bloody snow off the ground and did a great job on that. People in New York City desperately need childcare, as they do in Vermont, as they do all over the country. He is now instituting free childcare for the people of New York City. That is really good. Working-class people need to buy affordable, decent-quality food for their kids. He’s starting to put grocery stores—municipally funded grocery stores—in low-income and working-class areas. That’s good. So the point is, we have got to have progressives who are not only right on the issues—and I speak as somebody who was a mayor for eight years—you’ve got to know how to run a government. You’ve got to cut through the bureaucracy. You’ve got to stand up for working-class people. You’ve got to create the best educational system in the world that we can. You’ve got to make the system work efficiently.
