@ianbremmer No love you are wrong my dear acquaintances the fascist Rs can’t win- impossible. R can’t take all of Ukr as was their objective. worse case scenario:frozen situation -if not enough arms and air defence @secblinken + followed by aTrumpster win but no Ukr will not be defeated.

As the president has said multiple times, he thought this was going to be the easiest war to solve. I agreed with him. It has turned out to be much more difficult, but I think that we're making progress, Bill. I think we're making progress with both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and we're just going to keep working at it. Eventually, we're either going to be successful or we're not going to be. Right now, the president has some good optimism that we can bring this thing to a successful close. It's bad for the world, it's bad for America, so we're going to keep working at it.

Well, that unravelled quite quickly... Remember when Trump claimed he would end the Russia/Ukraine war in 24 hours? Now his administration says they might move on, and the war might not be able to be ended. "We came here yesterday… to try and figure out very soon whether or not this is a war that can be ended. If it can, we are prepared to do whatever we can… If it’s not possible, if we are so far apart that its not going to happen, then I think the President is probably at a point where he’s going to say, ‘we’re done.’” Trump lied.

It's possible to both disapprove of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and to acknowledge that the war won't end until Russia's legitimate security concerns are addressed. Acting like NATO membership is on the table for Ukraine only prolongs the bloodshed. It's time to end the war.
