In this video, Weyni Tesfai (@planbacktoafrica) reminds us that the continued display of colonial loot in Western museums is a form of violence. Furthermore, by juxtaposing ‘primitive’ African items with the ‘advances’ of Western culture, it reinforces false White-supremacist narratives. Over the years, European authorities have spuriously argued that they cannot in good conscience return artefacts because they cannot determine the legitimate owners or be sure the items will be looked after appropriately - as if it were for them to decide. The film shared numerous conspiracy theories about vaccines & African-Americans including the discredited claim that the MMR vaccine causes autism at higher rates in African-American boys. The film exploits the real and disturbing history of racism & atrocities in the medical field — such as the Tuskegee syphilis study — to scare communities of color to be suspicious of modern-day vaccines. One of the producers of the film is Curtis Cost, an anti-vaccine virus denier who has previously said "viruses do not cause anything, it's a hoax, it's a myth ... whether you are talking about HIV virus, the flu virus or any other virus." In this interview with Curtis Cost, Robert F. Kennedy Jr discusses vaccines & African-Americans. "It's just one huge experiment on black Americans. And they know...what is happening and they are doing nothing. It is just the confirmation that the Tuskegee experiment has never stopped."

I got into it because Texas deserves a true conservative fighter, someone who can WIN the primary, WIN the general, stand unapologetically for America First, and NEVER flinch when it matters. And I’ve barnstormed this state because this movement isn’t about one seat, it’s about the soul of Texas. The time is NOW.
