In 1996, they knew exactly what would make or break moon colonization. Without lunar ice, you're hauling everything from Earth at massive cost. With it, you produce fuel locally and moon bases become economically sustainable. This wasn't about water for drinking, this is about extracting hydrogen and using it... show more

🚨 NASA IS LIGHTING FIRES ON THE MOON — WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY HIDING UP THERE? This is becoming increasingly strange. While NASA and private companies push forward with new lunar missions, many are asking a serious question: Why are they conducting what appear to be fire or energy experiments on the moon? Some see it as nothing more than a massive money grab. Others like David Icke believe something far deeper is going on. That the moon may not be natural at all. That it was brought here, could be hollow, and is being used as a massive sensor or control system for humanity. The moon has long been surrounded by anomalies that defy conventional explanation. The official narrative has more holes than it has answers. And many of the public faces of these missions look and feel more like actors than explorers. Why the hell is NASA lighting fires on the moon, and what are they really using it for?

BREAKING: NASA Chief Jared Isaacman says returning to the Moon is the first step toward Mars. "We've made incredible progress in low Earth orbit. The International Space Station, if you're 25 years or younger, you have not lived a time when there weren't astronauts orbiting above you on the ISS. We've gained so much from it, but it's time to take the next step, to go to the surface of the moon, establish the enduring presence. Number one goal, master the skills necessary to go to Mars. I mean, we've been gifted a moon here that's, you know, three and a half days away for us to test habitability, next generation spacesuits, putting a nuclear reactor on the south pole of the moon, to interact with the water ice in the permanently shaded regions of the south pole, so you can make life support, whether it's oxygen, you can make liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen that you could use potentially for rocket fuel. You are going to, believe me, want to figure all that out and get very good at it when you're three and a half days away on the lunar south pole than when you're potentially nine months or more than a year away on Mars. Step one, go to the moon, use it as your technical proving ground to go to Mars. We may have a lunar economy."

[Heo Seongbeom Youtube] 260305 Jin - Moon 🌕🌏 (part1) 👨‍🏫It’s a solo song by Jin, and BTS are also preparing for a comeback in March. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m the moon, and you are the Earth. So it becomes a kind of love triangle. Earlier the sea loved the moon, but who does the moon love? The moon loves the Earth. That idea is reflected in this song, so let’s try interpreting it. Since when have the moon and the Earth been together like this? We’ve been together for so long, but when did it start? About 4.51 to 4.53 billion years ago. Scientists figured this out through radioactive isotope analysis, which showed that the Moon is about 4.51 to 4.53 billion years old. “Shining just by existing.” This line is directed at the Earth. But does the Earth actually shine just by existing? No. Because the Earth is a planet and does not produce its own light. If the Earth appears to shine, it’s probably because of artificial lights made by humans. “Can I stay by your side and protect you?” It sounds shy, but in reality the moon can’t help staying there, because it’s bound by gravity. And here we see the main line of the song. “You are my Earth, and to you I’m just a moon. Your small star that lights up your heart.” It’s poetic, but is the moon actually a star? No. Celestial bodies are generally divided into two categories. First, there are stars (stellar bodies). These produce their own light. Second, there are planets. Planets do not produce their own light. Instead, planets usually orbit around a star. The Earth is a planet. From our perspective, the star in our system is the Sun. So when you look at the night sky and see stars, those lights are actually other suns, each producing their own light. But sometimes when you see a particularly bright “star,” it may actually be a planet like Mercury, Venus, Mars, or Jupiter. Then you might ask: if planets don’t produce their own light, why do they shine? Because they reflect sunlight. The Moon also appears bright because it reflects the Sun’s light. #JIN #방탄소년단진 방탄소년단

GOING TO THE MOON TO STAY: "Today we’re going to do it at a lower cost and going to the moon to stay. It won’t just be a mission and leave. It will be a real sustainable lunar base... Nobody believed we would after the anomaly that we had. But the team here has rallied and done a great job of repairing the launch pad." Jeff Bezos Jeff Bezos shared major news on the company's return to flight. Despite skeptics doubting they could recover after May's anomaly, Bezos confirmed New Glenn will launch again this December following an incredible rebuilding effort by the team. He also contrasted today's cost-efficient commercial push with the 3% GDP spent on Apollo in 1969, emphasizing that this time, humanity is going to the Moon to stay and build a permanent lunar base.

Jeff Bezos just described the Moon as a fuel depot, and the number behind it explains why nothing has ever left this planet cheaply. Bezos: “it has a very low gravitational field, only a sixth of Earth’s, which means it takes about 30 times less energy to lift a kilogram of mass off the Moon than it does to lift it off the Earth.” Thirty to one. That number rewrites the economics of everything beyond this planet. Every rocket ever launched has fought the same math. The fuel required to escape Earth is so heavy that most of what a rocket carries is the fuel needed to carry the fuel. The Moon breaks that cycle. It sits outside the well with water frozen in its shadowed craters, and water splits into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen and oxygen are rocket fuel. Bezos: “the Moon is really a gift” Fill the tank up there instead of down here and the arithmetic of the entire solar system changes. Bezos: “So we can use the Moon as a rocket fuel depot to go to the rest of the solar system.” Not a destination. A gas station. Then there is the second constraint, which is that the sky itself runs on a schedule. Bezos: “unfortunately to get to other planetary bodies, they have very rare launch windows. Mars, you can go to Mars once every 26 months or so.” Miss the window and the answer is not next week. It is two years and change. Every world beyond our own operates on a timetable that does not care about human ambition. Bezos: “It’s so close to Earth. It’s only three and a half days away.” Except the Moon. The Moon is always there. Always reachable. That is what makes it the staging ground rather than the trophy. Apollo treated it as an endpoint, planted a flag, and came home. The flag was the mistake. A gas station is worth more than a monument. Monuments end the story. Infrastructure is what lets everyone who comes after take the trip for granted. Every era of exploration on Earth followed the same shape. Someone crossed once for glory, then someone built a port, and only after the port did ordinary people go. We have been staring at the Moon for three hundred thousand years thinking it was a destination. It was never the destination. It was the door. Every planet in the solar system just got closer. Not because the distances changed, but because the starting point did.

2024: A Year to Remember for Intuitive Machines 🚀 This year, we reached for the stars—and landed on the Moon! 🌒 In February, we made history, returning the United States to the Moon for the first time since 1972. But 2024 wasn’t just about the landing. It was about laying the foundation to provide lunar services that unlock the lunar economy. Highlights include: ⭐️ Winning $4.82 billion max value NASA Near Space Network contracts to establish communication and navigation services for missions in the near space region, ⭐️ Building on our leadership role in the Artemis campaign by earning a fourth contract under NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative, to deliver payloads to the Moon, and ⭐️ Securing a prime contractor position under NASA’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services contract and taking the Moon RACER LTV from concept to reality in just four months. We capped off an epic year by completing the LTV’s first round of human-in-the-loop testing just weeks ago. As we prepare for the IM-2 Mission in 2025, we’re proud to be at the forefront of humanity’s return to the Moon, shaping the future of lunar mobility, sustainability, and exploration—on the Moon and beyond. 🌠 Here’s to dreaming big! Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we’ll make 2025 even more extraordinary! #SpaceExploration #AdLunam #NASA #2024Highlights #HappyNewYear

ELON MUSK: The only way to reach 1,000 terawatts of AI power is a mass driver on the Moon. "In order to get to 1,000x from a terawatt per year. The only way that we can really achieve that is on the moon with a mass driver, essentially where you do local production of photovoltaics and radiators on the moon, maybe you bring the chips from Earth, or you could conceivably make the chips on the moon, and but you need most of the mass to be made on the moon, so you don't have to transport it to the moon from Earth, and then because the moon has no atmosphere and only 1/6 Earth's gravity, you can accelerate the AI satellites into deep space without a rocket, so you can basically shoot them into space using an electromagnetic gun, like a, like a rail gun type. I mean, just, it's basically a linear electric motor, as a way to think about it."

$David Friedberg: The Moon is the Next Industrial Frontier “ I think the moon could end up being the next industrial frontier for humanity. And the reason is, if you can get to the moon, it has an extraordinary abundance of material that we can mine, process, and manufacture into goods. And ultimately the cost to ship those goods back to the Earth is zero. And the reason is that on the moon, you can take advantage of the low gravity, it's about 1/6 the gravity, and the complete lack of an atmosphere, meaning that it's frictionless to move material off of the moon and very low energy to move it off of the moon. In fact, the design for moving material off of the moon is to use what's called a mass driver, which is like a train track, like a rail, like an electric rail. And you could put a package on that rail and use electricity to accelerate that package to 100 G-Force, shoot it back to the earth, or theoretically shoot it to Mars, and it will go to the exact point on the Earth you want it to go to, reenter the atmosphere, and land with a simple parachute where you want it to go. So we could run continuous mining, continuous manufacturing processes on the moon at a fraction of the cost of what it would take to do it here on Earth.”$

BREAKING🚨: A mysterious object appears near the Moon’s surface, creating a moment that looks unusual and difficult to explain at first. The bright lunar background makes even small moving objects clearly visible. It may look like the object is flying very close to the Moon, almost touching its surface. But in reality, it is often much closer to Earth, and this is just a result of alignment and perspective. Objects like satellites, meteoroids, or space debris can pass in front of the Moon, appearing as dark moving shapes for a few seconds.

For the first time since 1972, astronauts are on their way to the moon. NASA's Artemis 2 mission successfully launched last night and will go on a 10 day mission, though they won't land on the moon this time, instead looping around it and then back to Earth. This mission is part of NASA's preparations for deep-space missions - with landings on the surface and even a lunar base being planned in the coming years. David Harper reports.

MOON MYSTERY DEEPENS: IT’S TOO BIG, TOO WEIRD, TOO PERFECT Our Moon is officially the drama queen of the Solar System. For starters, it’s way too big for its place, about a quarter the size of Earth, and orbits in a perfect little circle like it’s showing off. And it just happens to look exactly the same size as the Sun from our POV. Scientists call a “cosmic coincidence,” but conspiracy fans call it “definitely suspicious.” The leading theory is that the Moon was born from a cataclysmic smash-up between early Earth and a Mars-sized body named Theia. But here’s where it gets juicy: Apollo missions once crashed spacecraft into the Moon, and it “rang” for hours. Scientists said it was like “a bell,” which sounds spooky until you realize it’s just because the Moon is bone-dry and cracked like a giant space gong, not hollow like sci-fi claims. So is the Moon an alien surveillance base? Scientists say no, but if it winks at you tonight, maybe close the curtains. Source: Filip Zieba

A new trend is emerging amid Russia's fuel crisis. Fuel resellers are somehow buying fuel in bulk despite sales restrictions and then reselling it privately at huge markups. In this case, from Rostov, one of them drained an entire gas station dry with his homemade fuel truck. They then advertise the fuel on social media and resell it at massive markups, further worsening an already severe fuel shortage. They even advertise it as an advantage, telling customers they won't have to spend hours waiting at gas stations. For some people, that may even sound tempting, considering that waiting 4, 8, or in some cases even 12 hours for fuel has become a reality.

Sometimes you watch something so simple that teaches you a huge amount. This is one of those videos. It about the current hot topic….the Moon, and it puts everything into perspective. This video makes clear something I didn’t know and demonstrates it in a simplistic but brilliant way that we can all relate to. The takeaway from it……space is beyond vast and we’re not even at step 1 of starting to explore it. #space #moon

WITHOUT REUSABILITY, STARSHIP WOULD HAVE ABOUT 400 TONS OF PAYLOAD TO ORBIT "Starship is fully reusable, with twice the payload to orbit of the next biggest rocket that made it to orbit, which is the Saturn V Without reusability, Starship would have about 400 tons of payload to orbit So, this is a very big rocket, is what I'm saying. But you need a big rocket to make life multi-planetary And then along the way, we could do very cool things like have a moon base, like Moon Base Alpha. Long ago, there was a TV show about Moon Base Alpha You couldn't think about the physics of that too much because apparently the moon base was drifting away from Earth But anyway, we should have a Moon Base Alpha. The next step after the Apollo program would be to have a base on the Moon"
