Sofia later admitted, Scarlett Johansson’s character was partially based on her, while Bill Murray’s character was inspired by her then-husband, Spike Jonze. Ten years later, Jonze directed Her (2013), the story of a man who falls in love with an AI.... Scarlett returned, but this time only as a voice, an echo of the past.
