[WATCH] ANC INTERVENTIONS IN DEALING WITH CORRUPTION and MISCHARACTERISATION OF THE ANC AS A CORRUPT PARTY. There are people who accuse the ANC of receiving monies from Iran and they have never produced any evidence. They even wrote to the US with regards to this without any evidence. No shed of evidence was produced to South Africans about this allegation. Botha Sigcau burned down and the organisation was accused, again with no shed of evidence. Because the end goal is to mischaracterise the ANC as corrupt. The ANC government has created laws in this country to deal with corruption including not allowing civil servants and politicians to do business with the state, the ANC has created the Special Investigating Unit. The SIU is a creation of the ANC. The SIU has uncovered billions which have been taken from the public purse. Some people who have been accused of corruption we removed them who were involved in Asbestos scandals. When the SIU arrests them it’s the SIU and not the ANC, even though it’s a creation of the ANC. Many people with respectable positions in the public service have been arrested because the ANC strengthened state institutions. We have seen ANC Ministers and MECs being accused of corruption when the corruption was done by the civil servants and now when the DA Minister Siviwe is in the same position the media remembers that ministers are far from procurement. The media praises her, something we have never seen. PANYAZA LESUFI The moment the ANC is removed from power and replaced by [a reactionary party like] the DA, just know that black people are going to feel the pain. It doesn't matter whether you are an educated professional (engineer or doctor), you will struggle both in the private & government. Parties like the DA are against transformation. There is no rule that says the ANC is excluded from putting forth a candidate to chair the committee. We are not going into the impeachment process to defend, we are going into it guided by the ruling of the constitutional court and follow all matters step by step as expected of us. Even in the Ad Hoc Committee we have acted without fear or favour, even against our own. Maimane must not create rules that are non existent and he has ambitions to chair the committee and we will not support it. We have had an Ad Hoc Committee chair by Cde Soviet who is an ANC member, it was fair and he was unbiased even against his fellow members who appeared. So this allegation that the ANC will defend its President is unfounded and the example of the Ad hoc Committee proves that.
