Borehole challenge accepted. Although I didn’t construct a new borehole but I was able to successfully repair this borehole for this community. After the exercise I warned them to avoid politics of religion and ethnicity which they promised not to engage themselves in such kind of dirty politics again. They regretted supporting APC and promised to fight against them with everything they’ve. Some of them even brought their PVC and identified it as their weapon to k!ll APC. We must continue to give our quota of contributions towards helping the less privileged among us. Ibrahim H Abdulkarim once said and I quote “We can’t help everyone but everyone can help everyone “ May Nigeria succeed, Ameen ya Allahu.

In our relentless pursuit of transforming infrastructure, I will like to provide an update on our 18.75km Lekki Epe Expressway Road project. On February 1, 2023, we commissioned phase one, giving the mandate of creating a world-class and long-lasting road to Messrs Craneburg Construction, which starts from Eleko to Epe T-Junction—ensuring a smoother commute for all. Without missing a beat, we embarked on phase two, navigating a challenging stretch from Eleko junction to Abraham Adesanya. This isn't just about roads; it's about reshaping the landscape for a seamless experience. To the resilient residents of Sangotedo, Ogidan, Abijo, Rainoil, and all along Lekki-Epe Expressway, your patience fuels our progress. Please, continue to bear with us as the project is getting to the end. We are promising not just roads but a transformative journey toward enhanced connectivity and convenience. #WATCH | Kalaburagi, Karnataka | On his visit to Central Jail, Kalaburagi, Karnataka Prisons and Correctional Services DGP Alok Kumar says, “This was the second visit of mine after taking charge as Director General, Prison and Correctional Services. There was an incident on 14 July in which three prisoners escaped from here. Kalburgi police and Bidar police have jointly apprehended two criminals, and the third one is yet to be apprehended… Then I reviewed the security situation and gave directions to our prison staff and KSISF also to add certain security features and make changes in our security arrangements… I have given direction with regard to the implementation of correctional services in the prisons… Instead of being very retributive, we have to focus on the rehabilitation, reintegration, and reformation of the prisoners… We have introduced yoga, meditation, and pranayama in all the prisons in Karnataka. We want to bring internal changes in the mindset of the people because unless they are reformed from within, they may again get into such old practices of committing crime once they come out of prison… In the coming days, we will give more emphasis to this in Karnataka prisons… We are introducing certain practices in Karnataka prisons so that our prisons become a better place for prisoners and our prison officers…”

UPDATE ON KINNA POLICE STATION WATER PROJECT (ISIOLO SOUTH). We are pleased to announce that water has finally been connected to Kinna Police Station, following the successful completion of the water project yesterday. A water storage tank has been fully installed, marking the successful delivery of this important initiative. The water supply will serve all police officers at the station, the OCS residence, officers’ housing, and the police cells. This small development of ours will significantly improve sanitation, living conditions, and overall service delivery at the station. We remain committed to implementing our small development projects that directly improve the lives of wananchi, without mixing development with politics. Development is about people’s livelihoods and well-being. We take this opportunity to sincerely thank the Officer Commanding Station, Mohammed Sora, and Sheikh Abdullahi Dida of Kinna Jamia Mosque for their cooperation, dedication, and tireless efforts in working around the clock to ensure the success of this project. The project has been successfully completed. Next Phase: Drilling of a borehole at Almazuh Mosque, install piping for twenty ablution points(points za kutawadha), and extend water services to Almazuh Orphanage Centre as well as support single mothers within the community. An emotional day for The Sameer Project team when we opened the desalination plant on September 10th! Support our work: After long hours of tears and sweat, we managed to open a desalination plant that provides a new source of clean water in Gaza. With God’s grace and your material support, we were able to do it. This desalination plant will help us save costs on providing water and we will also provide our partner organizations with free water to distribute. Working in community is a key pillar of The Sameer Project. So this is not our success, this is the success of mutual aid groups in Gaza. To operate the plant, we will need around $1,500 per day and we will be able to produce at least 150,000 liters of fresh water with that. The Sameer Project still needs your support to operate the desalination plant so please commit to a small amount monthly to sustain this important work. Just slightly over three weeks ago - 24 days to be precise, I presented the 2025 budget proposals to the joint session of the National Assembly themed, “2025 Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity” As I said to our Federal Legislators, we are building a Nigeria where peace reigns, opportunities abound, and every citizen can dream, work, and thrive in safety. We have to move forward, not as individuals but as one united nation, determined to rewrite our story for the generations to come. To quote a section of my speech that speaks to our outlook for the future of our great nation, Nigeria, “The time for lamentation is over. This is a time to act. A time to support and promote greater investment in the private sector. A time for every Nigerian to look hopefully towards a brighter future because a new day has dawned for us as a nation.” Together, we have embarked on a journey of transformation and reform, and while the road has not been easy, the progress we have made is undeniable.” ~ PBAT

A new year brings feelings of hope and change. This coming year, we pray that Palestine is liberated, and that we have sovereignty over our land. A big part of indigenous sovereignty is our connection to our land. For Palestinian communities to build our own food and agricultural systems, and to put the farmers and consumers over markets and external control. In collaboration with our partners, Arab Protection for Nature, The Sameer Project invested in a local agricultural project growing 20 donoms of wheat. This can yield into 6-8 tons of wheat. The project was done on farmland in the Masdar area, Central Gaza, and cost us $5,450, which includes 9% commission. With hopes of entering the second phase of the ceasefire that will hopefully bring more stability and predictability, The Sameer Project is looking to collaborate more with APN on sustainable projects.
