The Cardones have donated over $30 million to David Miscavige’s war chest, which is used to fund operations run by Scientology’s global intelligence agency, the Office of Special Affairs. These operations, which include the use of private investigators and other agents, involve the harassment, surveillance, and destruction of people who have been declared enemies of Scientology. This includes survivors of Scientology, women who have been raped, journalists, and advocates. There is no such thing as a cafeteria Scientologist or a “reform” or “orthodox” Scientologist. Every Scientologist is deeply radicalized, militant, and is involved in all of the heinous behavior that Scientology engages in at the direction of David Miscavige.
