"google" this guy's personal life and you'll see why you don't have to listen to anything he has to say. As companies get big, they tend to attract people who value stability over risk taking. That's just how life in tech works. He played an integral part in making Google a trillion dollar + company, but he hasn't founded any successful company of his own.

“Coming” is not same as “working”. The upside of lockdowns showed clearly whoever is dedicated to what he’s doing can work from anywhere and be 200% more productive. Imagine the time saved on traffic. 2 hours forth and 2 hours back. No personal life. To go in office (now newly designed without walls) to be watched and micromanaged. These days are gone for good.
