Unpopular opinion. A division within the family has been noticeable to me for the last few years. Not in an 'in your face' kind of way, but there has seemed to be two seperate factions with different visions and objectives for the family and for the institution. So I definitely agree with what Robert said a few days ago, and i think we'll see it even more moving forward. Now that the celebrity and his chaos has taken a closer step back to the centre (the crown), the further away William and Catherine will step to protect themselves, their children and the future - protect personally, professionally and possibly even legally. Obviously I could be wrong, and this could be an agreed arrangement and everything is harmonious. But it hasn't felt like that in years, and I just think we'll see a more pronounced division as William and Catherine move to protect their children from this mess 🤷🏻‍♀️ George is 13, starting Eton. The future is now.

German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil: The signal of receiving the Russian finance minister here is something I find irritating, because I would actually have preferred there to be clarity from the American side that he should not be received here like a normal guest. It is a regime that has been waging a brutal war of aggression against Ukraine, in violation of international law, for five years. People are dying every day. We have just seen another intensification of the attacks, and you cannot simply return to normality. I see absolutely no normalization or easing of the situation. Russia bears responsibility for bringing this war to an end, and Russia alone bears that responsibility — not Russia and Ukraine.

In 2021, I bought an apartment three blocks from theirs because I see my parents all the time. I talk to my parents every single day. In fact, my dad's out there right now traveling with us. I really love my parents, and I bought that place so I could visit them regularly. This attack line is that because I own property in Washington DC, that that means I'm not a Florida resident. The Florida Constitution, Article 4, Section 5, stipulates the terms under which you can be Governor. It says absolutely nothing about owning property in another state as a disqualifying factor. What Byron Donalds is doing, and he's trafficking in this, and that's why we're hearing about this, is instead of trying to debate on the issues, he is trying to literally remove my name off the ballot. I've already consulted with a team of lawyers. There's no case there. I have always lived in Florida. This is my home. I was born here. I will die here. The Florida Constitution, Article 4, Section 5, stipulates the terms under which you can be Governor. It says absolutely nothing about owning property in another state as a disqualifying factor. What Byron Donalds is doing, and he's trafficking in this, and that's why we're hearing about this, is instead of trying to debate on the issues, he is trying to literally remove my name off the ballot. I've already consulted with a team of lawyers. There's no case there. I have always lived in Florida. This is my home. I was born here. I will die here. And I look forward to Byron Donalds actually debating the issue as opposed to playing this game of gotcha. I will absolutely fully qualify, and I look forward to debating him on July 21st.”

I am grateful to every US Senator who made a morally strong choice today. Such a choice matters right now, not just for Ukraine but for every nation whose independence is a target for Russian strikes, current and planned, including those planned for the coming years. Putin's ambitions have never been limited to Ukraine. His goals are far broader. This means that our defense solidarity must be even broader. The next step is a vote in the US House of Representatives. We anticipate an equally strong moral choice and a decision that will work for the benefit of our shared security.
