You can use camera with your iOS Simulator including the “passthrough” mode thanks to Apparently Expo Go doesn’t have the scanner. I only added it for this demo to bring old memories where the scanner was a part of the app

And I was so stupid, just pressing „i“ in the console 🤦♂️

🤣

galaxy brain lol

Thanks 🙏

Thanks 🤩

This is so smart I love it

Thank you ☺️

press i

@swmansion 🤯

any chances if you know this possible in flutter ? @jezell

@jezell works with camera in flutter apps too so this should be def possible

this is one of those tiny workflow things that saves you like 20 mins a week and you never think about again. love it

this is so helpful.

just press “i” man its not that tough

that's feels so good on so many levels 🤯

woah 🤯

I was today years old...

Is there a way to make this work with AVCaptureVideoDataOutputSampleBufferDelegate?

Have you tried it and it doesn’t work? If yes can you share more details on GitHub or via SimCam support email.

Yup! Tried it and didn't work. I will send an email, yes. Thanks!

this is the craziest thing i have seen so far, how did you get this module done? Is it strictly coupled with expo, or built natively?

Not coupled to expo. You can use it with any app that uses camera on iOS simulator with no extra setup. Check out

ohh col cool, checking it

Cool

😭😭😭

What

Wait, what??

Thanks!!! @kzzzf 😅😂

Thats bloody crazy. Me doing summersaults here to try out scanner camera in my app

🤯

Hahaa how?

With and new passthrough mode that uses display underneath as camera source

Why paid 🙁.. should be freemium
