Mine was a mule named Pete. I used to fall asleep sitting on his back, while he grazed. Grandpa would saddle him for me any time I wanted growing up. I miss that old mule, and Grandpa. Hold these memories tight.

My sister Lauren was infatuated with horses as a toddler & young child. She called them Hopies, before she could say the word horse. It makes me sad that she never got a pony, or a horse and as the years have gone by, so has her dream of having a horse. Growing up sucks!

Some of my favorite memories growing up is building my relationship with my horse. Beautiful creatures!

I do need that smile I have to put my doggie down today at least she will be in haven with my momma

Thank God these are gentle horses. I had a few of those loving moments with our horses years ago, just moments before I either got ran over, kicked, or had a chunk of my flesh bit.

I'm now crying (happy tears, of course)!!! Horses and kids are a truly heart-warming mix. Horses seem to love kids and can be the most gentle creatures, as if they know they are little. ❤️🐴🫂

I have horses. They just KNOW the littles! Demeanor completely changes. It’s a wonderful experience.
