“In five years, doing drug design without AI will be like doing science without maths.” Max Jaderberg says the next frontier in drug discovery is collaboration with AI agents. You guide them. They search molecular space and return in hours with what would've taken humans weeks.

AI won't replace you, but a person using AI will. Join 500,000+ readers and learn how to use AI in just 5 minutes a day (for free).

Science and medicine are exactly the fields where AI can bring the most radical breakthroughs. When a single agent can do in hours what would’ve taken a human weeks - it accelerates progress immensely. We’re standing on the edge of the fastest evolution of knowledge in human history.

🔥 Hope it takes less than five years. If used responsibly and for the good of humanity, these AI deployments could drastically reduce human suffering.

Medical science, especially pharmacology, will see profound discoveries and new medications, if only Big Pharma will make the new drugs which must be profit driven, not patient driven. It will be very telling which pharmaceutical companies move forward with new drugs.

Recently talked to a lab manager of a chemistry department for this phase of drug development and he told me this stuff actually doesn’t help that much

this is turning out to be a year of agents

@fox__intern ai is definitely changing the game in various fields, including drug design. it's exciting to think about the potential breakthroughs we'll see in the next few years

@FUTURENEWS2020 This seems like way too much of oversimplification. The AI/ML is already used in these settings. Agentic coordination of cross-functional teams/processes/datasets seems more realistic?

Sans IA, on presse encore le raisin à la main pendant que d’autres dégustent le cru de demain. Investissons enfin au bon rythme ! 🍇
