Trump also said he didn't need votes, but he stated firmly that they had to protect the votes they already had. I took that as no recounts, no investigations, and nothing that would reveal the vote count had been rigged.

2 things: 1. He didn't run a presidential campaign with even a fraction of the vigour and energy of 2016. He didn't try broad appeal or to run as a moderate as he did previously. 2. Where is the bragging about this historic victory? It's extremely out of character for Trump.
