In less than 2 minutes Marlon Wayans breaks down everything that's wrong with Hollywood right now, TV in particular. Whether you're a fan, writer, actor, etc. this is a MUST WATCH clip. I wish the studios would listen too. Stop chasing Netflix. Play and win a different game.

"Let Netflix be Netflix. You're going to kill your business to go try and do their business. Let them have their business...Our business is gobbling itself up and we need to break out of it."

It’s the short sightedness of “money now” and chasing after the shiny object instead of what can sustain long-term financial growth. I mean, seems pretty common sense!

@AlysonFouse Networks went for it bc shareholders & CEOs knew more money could hit them than the creatives while alleviating fears they’d become Blockbuster. They didn’t care about creatives making less. As long as more cash dropped in their pockets. Industry wrecked & they making billions.

#SuitsOnNetflix should’ve taught the networks how lucrative their business model was & cause them to return to it. Last Summer 10+ yr old Suits debuted on Netflix & ate, it was a beast all sum/fall. Ppl were hungry for a show w/16+ episodes a season with 8, 9 seasons to watch.
