In Mahmora Co-district, we recently commissioned a solar power irrigation scheme to aid farmers in boosting their crop yield and enhancing their income. We are utilising nature's full potential to create a sustainable and rewarding agricultural ecosystem for our Annadatas.

In Ndhiwa, we are putting agriculture directly in the hands of our people. By supporting farmers with seedlings and other essential farm inputs, we are helping families increase production, strengthen food security and create sustainable sources of income. A step ahead. Genowa!

In a bold show of resilience, farmers in the region are undergoing training to defend themselves against band!ts who warn£d them not to go to their farms this year. Despite the thr£ats, the farmers have made it clear they will not yield to the band!ts’ demands. “We are farmers,” they declared, “and we will not agree to stay away from our farms.” The local farming community in zamfara state is determined to prot£ct their livelihood and continue agricultural activities even in the face of insecurity.

Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi has instituted comprehensive schemes tailored to every single need of our Annadatas to transform their lives. To make agriculture climate-resilient, scientifically developed seed varieties have been introduced to withstand extreme heat and dry spells. Through the GOBARdhan initiative, rural waste is converted into clean biogas, while solar pumps under PM-KUSUM provide farmers with reliable, free, solar-powered electricity for irrigation. To protect farmers against crop losses and unforeseen risks, the PM Fasal Bima Yojana provides robust crop insurance. - Smt Nirmala Sitharaman in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh

Empowering our farmers means adapting to the challenges of tomorrow. Today, I had a productive dialogue with global experts on maximizing our dryland agriculture. Our goal is to increase farmers' incomes and crop production while using less water. By celebrating 50 years of collaboration between ICAR and ICRISAT, and embracing South-South cooperation, we are taking strong steps toward a sustainable agricultural future for all.

We are establishing a clear definition of agrivoltaics. What does that mean? It means protecting farmers who want to use their land for clean energy generation while prioritizing their agricultural productivity. Virginia is a national leader in guiding us into our energy future — and in finding solutions that work.

Trump on deportations: We are going to work with farmers. If they have strong recommendations for their farms for certain people we’re going to let them stay in for a while… we have to take care of our farmers and our hotels and various places where they need the people

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘀𝘂𝗻. When we assumed office in 2022, there was no single functional tractor owned by the Osun State Government for the benefit of our farmers. Our administration therefore launched a phased procurement programme, and we purchased 31 tractors in the first batch, which have been deployed across the 30 Local Government Areas and the Area Office. We have also continued to provide improved seedlings for cash-crop farmers, feeds for poultry farmers, agricultural inputs and cash grants to support farmers and strengthen their businesses. Our goal is to build a thriving agricultural sector where farmers have access to modern equipment, quality inputs, financing and markets, while ensuring that food is available and affordable for every family in Osun. To our administration, Agriculture is not only about feeding our people; it is about creating jobs, empowering our young people and building a stronger Osun economy. #ImoleCarryOnAccordingly

VIJAY STEAL PEOPLE HEARTS With One speech “ This is not like other parties' election promises, which are meant to deceive. This is about giving hope to the people who believe in us. Free education to the youngsters coming from farming family with less than 2 acres of land Farmers in the Delta region recently faced a shortage of fertilizers. There were reports that some people hoarded fertilizers and sold them at high prices. When our TVK comes to power, we will ensure there are no such shortages. For farmers with up to 5 acres of land, we will completely waive off the crop loans taken from agricultural cooperative banks. For farmers with more than 5 acres, we will explore the possibilities and take firm action to waive up to 50% of their crop loans. We won’t be like the other party , promising things to everyone and then deceiving them by setting eligibility criteria and showing bias. We will be transparent and state everything clearly." — Vijay

Another great day of helping others here in #Ukraine. Today was spent on a farmers field checking for mines and UXOs. We visited this farmer over a week ago and I told him we will help him, and keeping to our word, we are back. Please see for your way to support our mission and give hope to these farmers who are heading back to their fields regardless of the danger because they need to support their families.

Farmers in Indonesia’s West Sumatra are struggling to save what’s left of their rice crop after floods and landslides wiped out their fields. With roads blocked and aid delayed, residents are relying on drying soaked, possibly contaminated rice.
