Visited the 1st sea water desalination plant of Karachi at Manora with a capacity of 500,000 gallons of water a day. Structural work is complete & testing is on going. Hopefully we should be able to make it fully operational in a few weeks #KarachiWorks

We had constructed 2 rain water harvesting tanks. One behind the Sindh Secretariat (100,000 gallons capacity) and one at Burns Garden (130,000 gallons capacity). Both the interventions have worked out well ensuring that not only the rain water is stored and saved but also the surrounding area remains clear. We will now endeavour to replicate this in other low lying areas of Karachi
