In Rajasthan's Peepar town, Parents confronted the school authorities after Muslim girls were thrown out of the school for wearing Hijab. Hijab wearing students were allegedly called 'robber of Chambal' and threatened their marks to be reduced if they wear hijab.

"We are threatened and tortured everyday," said Hijab wearing students after they were thrown out of school.

Why should religious wear be allowed to override the school uniform to accommodate religious fanatics? If the uniform doesn't suit them, get the kids admitted to a school that doesn't have a uniform. Why does your folks become violent over every issue without exploring options?

When i was in school not a single muslim girl wore a hijab or covered her head. they were given special permission to wear shalwar jumper with dupattas pinned at the shoulder instead of the school uniform.

It is a school and not fancy dress competition. You follow the rules of the institution and not the other way round.
