Great interview! He basically says if he wasn’t rich and famous it would be costly & even more difficult. He’s fighting for those without the means. I have nothing but respect for this man.

My Dad is living with Parkinsons and I know first hand everything Michael is living with every day. Keeping Dad positive, finding humor in things and him not dwelling on how "things used to be or how I used to be" are key. Celebrating the "little victories" like my Dad being to use a walker to still walk, being able to dress himself, holding a fork to feed himself & him remembering what he had for dinner the night before is what my Mom & I are grateful for regarding my Dad. It's a vicious disease, it breaks your heart & it tears at the fiber of your being - but everyday I still have my Dad with me is a truly blessed day & I will cherish them always.

God this got me teared up. What a terrible disease. What a tremendous man and human.

I was a Parkinsons and Alzheimers nurse for 20+ years. It's very rewarding but sad also. I loved each and every one of my patients. I have so many momentos from my patients and their families. My step-dad had Parkinsons for 18 years. I was so glad I had the knowledge.

Saving this one…”With gratitude, optimism is sustainable.” Michael J. Fox

He’s an incredible person. Diagnosed at 29 and continues to inspire us every day.
