At some point, we must stop and take a hard look at where we are. This isn't the future we were promised. We need to acknowledge what’s gone wrong, and we need to act, urgently, to make it right. We must bring back safety. Safety at home. Safety on the streets. Safety in our schools. Progress means nothing if we can't protect the most basic human right: to feel safe. I want to live in peace and harmony, not fear and harm. And I know I’m not alone.

As always, a good and productive meeting with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre. We discussed in detail our cooperation in the production and use of drones. Our experience is already being used in the Middle East and the Gulf. We are improving defense against “shahed” drones, and we believe this should also be done in Europe. Today, for this purpose, we initiated a Drone Deal with Norway and signed a Joint Declaration on Enhanced Defense and Security Cooperation. Now our teams will work out the details. We also focused on our joint production projects and cooperation priorities for this year, and not only in defense. We continue to work together with partners to strengthen our countries. I personally thank Jonas, Norway, and all Norwegians for their military and energy support for Ukraine, for strengthening our air defense, and for their readiness to continue support for the PURL initiative. We feel your support and are sincerely grateful for it.

After many weeks, World Central Kitchen teams are once again serving warm meals and fresh bread in Gaza. Our mobile bakery is baking again and you can see what it means to people...to eat, to feel seen. But these meals are not yet enough. We need sustained aid access. Many families are still hungry. WCK is built to reach them, to meet the need….and we've shown that since the beginning of the war in Gaza. With both our large field kitchens and our community kitchens, we can feed many, many families, if we can safely get ingredients to our teams.

Boring post alert but I like birds and love my garden. I just sent this video to Ray, that’s as exciting as marriage gets after 18 years! We have thrushes and robins living in the conifers in our garden. I have been watching this little thrush for the past 10 mins. It’s fascinating and so cute. Although it’s sending Harley dog over the edge. He wants to eat it. We also have a few Robins in the garden this year. Has anyone else’s noticed an increase in birds that aren’t your standard starlings and blackbirds? It’s lovely to see. We are planning on cutting these trees down in the spring but it almost seems a shame to.
