The first model ended up being so unhinged that I could not release it publicly (or risk being cancelled forever). So I had to train another one, on almost all my text messages. I hated my previous workflow: open camera app, snap pic of page, copy OCR text, THEN open another note app to paste text. The worst. So I made it faster and smoother with Epilogue - it's still WIP. Oh and you can directly ask Epilogue about your quotes.

I don't know why the Codex app hasn't implemented this, but one of my favorite features from Cursor was (and still is) Inline-ask I could highlight any text, press Cmd+K, and ask a throwaway question, and it didn't alter my chat sessions

Okay... this is actually insane. OpenCodex feels like the open-source breakthrough I've been waiting for. The best part : You can plug multiple providers into the same OpenAI Codex harness and switch between models depending on the task. Running low on tokens? No problem. Use another provider. OpenRouter free model today? Plug it in. This completely changes how I think about AI coding workflows. And yes... it even works on mobile. OpenCodex might be one of the most useful open-source AI projects I've seen this year. OpenAI built an incredible harness. The open-source community just made it universal.
