if you use Codex and you're stuck on GPT models only, this fixes that. it's called codex-router, open source. drops other models straight into your normal Codex picker, right next to the GPT ones you already have. what it adds: - Grok, Kimi, Deepseek, Claude, all in the same picker - oauth login per provider, no api key needed - your GPT models and Chatgpt login stay untouched setup: point Codex at the repo, let it read the readme, it installs itself one snag: if you've got the Chatgpt app and a separate Codex on your path, you can end up running two different Codex versions, and the older one can choke on newer config it doesn't recognize. if the install looks off after, that's probably why, reinstall clean.

this is f**king insane i cancelled my $20/mo claude subscription for this. a dev found a way around OpenAI's usage limits and got unlimited GPT-5.6 Luna on Codex for FREE ($0)😳 He built a three step local workflow on a single machine. This involved no servers, shared accounts, or a team. Instead he used a GitHub repo, one prompt file, and a local coding agent. Traditional users pay full price or hit usage limits. After a weekend of testing and working on something with GPT-5.3-Codex & Opus 4.6, ChatGPT Pro + Claude Max 5x are still the best combo in my opinion Using Codex & Claude Code CLI running in tmux (the desktop apps are still a bit buggy) and they're accessible even on the go from iPhone with Termius (and VPN) Usually starting with GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh and Opus 4.6 in plan mode, discussing changes and options, and each writing their plans down to separate Markdown files Then letting GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh (or Opus 4.6) implement the changes as the first draft, then Opus 4.6 reviews them with a team of agents (works pretty well already with tmux even though still experimental) based on both prepared plans, fixes stuff, and then another review by GPT-5.3-Codex xhigh or vice versa Interesting that even Opus 4.6 still occasionally makes silly mistakes like wrong imports, partial or overly broad renaming of variables/functions, etc Fun fact, OpenAI apparently plans to use their Super Bowl ad to promote Codex - curious what that will look like

I’m joining OpenAI Codex to work on the future of agentic development! At Cursor, I got to see the shift from autocomplete to agents. The next step isn’t a better IDE. It’s an Agent Development Environment (ADE): systems and tools for orchestrating agents, reasoning over their outputs, and making them autonomous enough to reliably complete ambitious work. Updated the subagents system in my custom Pi extension to include: - Pi subagents - Codex subagents - Claude Code subagents The Pi thread can call and spin up any of them, and instead of just using the "codex exec" or whatever, it'll do a tool call that wraps it up in a first class way. Have a decent UI for them already added in as well. Pi being the main thread then having Codex/Claude Code as tools when needed feels so good. A flow I'm already using a ton is: "Implement feature ___, have a cc fable subagent research and plan out the api design + feature, then have a codex subagent implement it, then have a cc fable subagent do a review/fixes focused on simplicity and correctness" I also have a dynamic workflows extension setup and working, but it's not nearly as polished yet. Probably gonna make the subagent system more robust, then built it around that so u could have a workflow that flows between codex/cc/pi...

Sharing my new skill! It keeps track of high-signal X accounts for top AI news, papers, projects, etc. Total gamechanger for me. Built with X MCP tools. Give your agent the skill and tell it to generate the artifact with top stories. Works for Codex, Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, or whatever you use. 3 steps: 1. Set up X MCP - X API: 2. Install skill here: 3. Run prompt: "Use the x-agent-intelligence skill to build a self-contained local feed from my X MCP connection; ask for my source handles if needed, save feed.html, and validate it." It should generate a nice, beautiful HTML artifact like the one shown in the clip. You can tune it however you want. You can then set a schedule/automation to do this daily or whatever cadence you prefer. I have it every 4 hours. You will need to curate the X accounts yourself, but I have shared a few good ones under the assets. You can ask your agent to tune it to however you like. I have also shared my personal feed with our community here: I understand if it gets tricky to set up. Please reach out to me in the community forum. I plan to do a little tutorial or live session soon to help others reproduce the process. You can also store the feed as a wiki, as I have in my own implementation, but that's optional. If you encounter any issues or have ideas on how to improve it, please open a PR.

"npx t3 connect" This one's been a lot of work. You can now set up remote control for T3 Code on any internet-connected box with literally one command. All for free. T3 Connect is a minimal open source tunnel layer allowing you to control T3 Code instances remotely without needing Tailscale set up. I've been daily driving it for a month and it has changed how I code. Julius and I put a lot of effort into making setup as smooth as possible. Step 1: Install Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, or Grok Build Step 2: Run "npx t3 connect" Step 3: Click link and sign in Step 4: You can now control that computer on T3 Code web, desktop or mobile (dropping very soon) We are currently providing this for free (s/o CloudFlare for bumping our tunnel limits). Every user can connect up to 3 devices. We don't want to charge for this, but if the bill gets unacceptable we may have to change course. If you hit limits or have issues, you can always fork, self host, or use Tailscale. T3 Connect may seem like a small ergonomic win. Tbh that's exactly what it is. Regardless, it's one I'm really proud of.

Codex can run Qwen-3.8-max now as well!! Alibaba most capable model, dropped today and it's already in my codex picker. It's a token plan subscription, not metered api billing. You take the key from your Qwen plan, drop it into Codex Router, and it spends down the plan instead of your card. There's a catch though. Qwen's official setup switches your whole codex over to them, so your ChatGPT models stop showing up at all. That's exactly what Codex Router is for. It adds models to the list instead of replacing them, so sol, Grok, kimi, Deepseek and now Qwen 3.8 max all sit in the same picker and it can grab whichever one suits the job. Dynamic workflows are a generalization of harnesses, automations, loops, routing, and graphs. It's the most powerful feature I have built into my agent orchestrator. Supports all kinds of patterns that leverage different agent backends (claude, codex, pi, hermes,...). It's a meta-harness approach that unlocks new forms of test-time compute. Example of use cases it supports: > LLM councils to get different perspectives from LLMs or plan more intensively > Dynamically routing tasks to different agents based on needs (e.g., cost efficiency and optimal intelligence) > Advisor/Judge + executor workflows and pretty much any complex graph-based pattern required by the task. I find it especially useful for long-running work and code reviewing. > Agent teams that talk to each other if needed for the task. I like to use this for AI editing, artifact creation, and other creative tasks. And I am sure it supports so many things that I haven't discovered yet. I got inspired by the dynamic workflow feature released by the Claude Code team. I had actually built it earlier this year but wanted to generalize it across different agent backends. I think this is going to become more popular in the coming days. I will share more of my findings soon.

LLM Knowledge Base → Slides When Andrej Karpathy shared his LLM Knowledge Base setup, many were wondering how to generate more visual forms of the wiki. There are many options, but I think Gamma is one of the best at producing high-quality, rich presentations. To showcase this, I just built a pipeline that turns my AI papers wiki (1K+ papers across 20 AI agent topics) into polished slide presentations using Gamma. The flow: Obsidian vault → Gamma MCP → embedded preview in my dashboard. I give one command to my agent, which pulls the top papers from each topic (via the wiki), feeds them to Gamma, and renders the presentation inline. The Gamma connector for Claude is a great choice for generating beautiful and professional slides. Easy to use. Go to your Claude instance and add the official Gamma connector. That's it! Claude Code will now have access to all the necessary MCP tools for generating slides. Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.
