Even though I am not a teacher or have a B. Ed. degree, but with my long experience in working with corporates, I would love to teach students some practical skills that can help them in getting employment later.

Miscreants who engaged in the molestation of women in Kolkata under the guise of protest are not even worthy of appearing for the NEET examination. Strict action will follow, and no culprit will be spared.

Beginning Monday, we're going to comb our villages mopping up the more than 1m potential voters who are yet to be captured in the IEBC roll. In 2027, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth - but not for us.

99 years is theft of a future we will never see. From today, 99 years is 2125. Muthalib who signed this will be dead. Muizzu will be dead. Mohamed Alabbar will be dead. Most of their children will be dead. Their grandchildren will be old. Maldivians living with the consequences will be people who are not born yet, our great grandchildren and the children after them. That is who this deal is being made for. People who cannot vote. People who cannot object. People who will inherit a coastline already promised away. 99 years ago was 1927. Our grandparents were children. Our great grandparents were the adults. Almost nobody who made decisions then is here. Their contracts, their leaders, their companies are history. We are the descendants of people who had no say in 1927. In 2125, our descendants will be in that same position, except this time the paper, the lease will still be running. Rasmale’ is Maldivian land. A gov elected for a few years does not own the next four generations. No cabinet has the right to lock the sea, the shore and the homes of unborn citizens into a rolling 99 year hold for Eagle Hills.

President Ruto: We must say it as it is. There will be no slave owners in Kenya, there will be nobody who will reverse the independence we have as a nation, there will be nobody who will replace the sovereignty of the people of Kenya. I want to promise you they will not succeed in slave ownership, they will not succeed on dictatorship they want to install in Kenya, they will decide nothing, they will lead nobody, they will lead nowhere and they will lead nothing. I’m not a prophet but that’s what I believe in.

Indian middle class sending kids to these real colleges is saving this country. These kids gonna face about 100 exams and 80 practicals in 4-5 years. Will face pressure to complete thesis, projects, & assignments. In hostels, they will learn to live with someone who has totally different life trajectories & socioeconomic backgrounds than them. They will learn how many languages this country speaks & how women are equally competent in professional lives. They will make & amend friendships. They will challenge their own prejudices. They will go through heartbreaks & stress to get a decent job. Many will break the chains of poverty for their families. They will have lifelong alumni support. In all that, sure they will have some vices and have some fun. They deserve it. The life lessons, economics of solo survival, politics & realities of country, everything will be taught in those years. Wish all kids could have a hostel life in this country. We could be less dehati in mindset.
