This hostel life nonsense is very dehati coded, unnecessary and anti academic. Studious, intellectual kids either get bullied by these cartoons or abandon their potential to become just another dehati. Should be crushed with iron hand.
Hostels are ruining the education system. Passing marks should be increased to 60%. All unruly activities like sports etc should be dropped from hostels.

These exam and assignments are discouraging creativity and creating a conformist society. This pressure only increases toxicity. Our hostels are unhygienic and it is not a flex to live under sub saharan conditions.

Wish each and every kid in India have proper primary and secondary education first. Foundation is not clear and they go to higher education having poor foundation (knowledge and understanding). Same with sports. Build foundations first. Else it will definitely fall down.
