I was asked to save the situation. They had quite a bit of money involved in this project. Peter Sellers was threatening to pull out because he didn’t like the screenplay. He said that the only way he would continue with the project would be if I took it over. I said that the only way I could possibly take it over, under such emergency conditions, would be that I would not be obliged to do anything like Archard’s play because a) I didn’t like it, b) I thought it was not a motion picture and c) I wasn’t ready to make a movie at that point. So they asked me what I wanted to do because the picture had to start in something like four weeks. I needed a detective, somebody to solve a murder. I couldn’t throw the whole thing out. I had to use the idea that the maid was accused of killing the chaffeur and this had to be solved. So I thought that Peter Sellers was just the natural thing and that now I was going to try to be as broad with the character as I could be. “How far can I go now in terms of Inspector Clouseau?” I wrote the screenplay and was on the stage in four weeks with it. Fortunately, it turned out to be a reasonably funny movie. It proved something for me—that if a gag is well-designed you can pull it off." (The day after the nail salon cut off #NamtanTipnaree tiny harmless ingrown toenail) 🤍: I got home, cleaned the wound, dried it, and put some antiseptic cream on, bc I know how to take care of a wound. I had to wake up at 4, took a shower, left the house at 5, and got to the filming set by 6. It took me an hour bc it was far. How could I even go to the hospital? I had to be in every scene. I couldn't put any weight on my foot. I mean, I was in tears when I was at home bc it hurt so bad. I had to film every scene the whole day. Actually, I was supposed to wear high heels, but I couldn't, so I had to switch to sneakers. I was limping the whole time, except when filming, I had to push through it and walk normally, which only made it worse.😭 Someone from the crew even asked if I'd reported it to the police. 😂 They were like, "Where are they? I'll handle it." Because it made things difficult for other people to do their jobs. I contacted the nail salon and asked if this had ever happened before, because I couldn't work, and they didn't clean the wound properly. They apologized for what happened. They seemed confused, like, what kind of job do I have that I can't just wear flip-flops? They had no idea what I actually do. At that time, my mind was like, "I want to run. I want to exercise. But I can't. 🥺"

This woman was 12 minutes late to the gate and the airline gave their seats to other customers with standby tickets. The rules are rules for a reason but if the gates are still open, is this just being petty? They are there now so I don’t see why they can’t just have the seats they paid for. I remember when I was almost sprinting to the gate because the watch j was wearing stopped working, I just didn’t know it. I thought I had plenty of time so as I walked to get something to eat I saw some of the gate time displays and in the corner of the screen displayed a time. I was confused because when I looked at my watch it said 1:30pm, my flight left at 2:30pm and the time on the screen was 2:25pm. I kept walking and passed a gift shop that had a clock and it also said 2:25pm. I hurried to the employee at the shop and asked what time it was and they pointed to the clock meaning that was the actual time. I took off to the gate because I knew there was a big chance I wasn’t going to make my flight. I got there right at 2:30pm. They were getting just letting the last people on. I had my ticket in hand and she said she had to make sure I could still board. Initially when she walked back she had a worried look on her face as if she had bad news, I was prepared for the worst but luck was on my side as she said they agreed to let me on. If I paid $51000 for a car and the dealer already cashed the check and had it in the bank for 11 days, I better already have my car. Unlike this dealership who kept pushing back the delivery date and eventually refused to give this gentleman his car he already paid for. To me it sounds like they sold it before he picked it up. I remember during the hurricane Katrina days and I left the insurance office to clear my wind. I just got off a difficult call and I felt so sorry for the insured. I left to go to Panera to get a bread bowl with some broccoli cheddar soup and a nice Sierra Turkey sandwich which was my favorite order. On the way there I spotted a beautiful pearl white new 2005 Cadillac Escalade at the Cadillac dealer. I wasn’t in the market for a new car but I decided to stop and take a look. One thing led to another and I ended up putting a deposit on the car and made an appointment to go back so I can discuss price and purchase. The sales man said I had to put the deposit down on it so they would hold it for me, I didn’t have the time to do it at the moment because I still had to go back to work. I went back on my off day a few days later only to not see it parked out front. I thought to myself maybe they are having it cleaned in anticipation of me buying it today so I didn’t think much of it. The salesman kept saying he will come get me when he was ready, he claimed it was a busy day for him. I kept waiting and waiting only to go back to his office and he wasn’t even there. I asked another employee if they could page him for me, I was getting impatient. That’s when I found out he left. I asked to speak to the sales manager and inquire about the car I put a deposit on and asked if it was being cleaned. He looked it up and told me they sold it two days ago. I said I was there two days ago and was told to put a deposit down on it so they would hold it for me. He said they don’t ever do that unless it’s a special order. He asked to see a receipt and I showed him my receipt given to me by the salesman. He looked confused because he said their receipt are never handwritten, they are always printed with my info, the dealer info, the car vin number and other info. This was just a generic looking paper receipt with my name on it and the amount. But it did have his name on it. They did refund me and asked to show me another car, I told him I was fine and I left. But I did drive an hour out of my way to a different dealer in Cleveland and ended up buying the same spec car from them. I then drove it back to the shady dealer and made them wash it for me since Cadillac offers free car washes for all Cadillacs regardless where I bought it.

Customer gets into an argument with the staff over their pizza, walks outside the door and immediately throws it on the ground. Takes a step and slips and falls, talk about karma coming back at you quickly. As the manager on duty I think I would understand why the customer left angry but I wouldn’t wish harm on anyone. I think I would even offer to make them a new pizza. I would take this opportunity to take a customer that will never come back, and turn it into a pleasant experience for them. Maybe the customer was just having a bad day and they flipped out for no reason, it happens to us all. But after all they did pay for a pizza because they wanted to eat it, it wouldn’t bother me that they did it themself. I would still remake it, let them enjoy their pizza and cool down, who knows, they might and realize they were wrong and apologize next time they order. That’s what I would want if this happened to me.

Jackie Gleason, the legendary American comedian and star of "The Honeymooners", on the time he got CBS to send him a private train to Miami: In the 1960s, Gleason decided he didn't want to shoot his show in New York anymore. He wanted to do it in Miami, and he wanted to get there in style. "When we're doing the Honeymooners, I had a big contract for that for two years. And after the first year, I said I didn't want to do it. And they didn't believe me. They thought I had a job somewhere else. And finally, they realized that I just didn't want to do it." When the network came back asking him to do another show, Gleason was in California making a picture. He said yes, but with one condition: "I said, 'All right.' I said, 'But I want a train that goes to Florida.' Because I had come down here and played golf and liked it and I figured might as well go to Florida and do the show. Play golf all the time and they went for it." They went for it. What followed was a rolling party across the country. Gleason describes what was on the train: "Everything. We had two Dixieland bands come from California and they would spell each other. I'd say to them, 'Take five miles,' and the parties went on 24 hours." Asked if there were girls on the train, he laughs: "Boy, there were girls. There certainly were. And they were very, very nice girls. Nothing on it happened. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it didn't. Might have been because the berths were too small, but regardless of that, nothing happened on that trip." Asked if there was a bar on the train, his answer is perfect: "A bar. The train was a bar. I guess that's a classic example of what clout is." Then he delivers the line that sums up the whole story: "'Send a train, please.' That's right. When you've got good ratings and you're one, two, or three in the ratings, there is nothing your little heart desires that they don't provide."

Today morning, around 6:00 AM, I went for a walk with another woman Rajya Sabha MP from Tamil Nadu near the Embassy area. A person wearing a helmet approached us and snatched my chain, tearing my clothes in the process. He fled on a vehicle at a slow speed. I raised an alarm, but no one came to help me. After that, I proceeded to the government guest house. On the way, I encountered police personnel, so I informed them about the incident and asked them to apprehend the culprit. However, they simply asked me to file a complaint and didn't even alert other police stations. I then went to the Chanakyapuri police station and filed a complaint. I have also emailed the Home Minister and the Speaker to take action regarding this incident. I hope they take action. What's shocking is that I walked through a highly secured area with no security presence. The 'Double Engine Sarkar' talks about women's safety, but where is it? 250928 #HAECHAN #해찬 WEVERSE LIVE 🐻: while i was preparing for this album, i honestly didn’t want to go out on too many external contents. but since i had to, i picked them myself like ones with people i knew, or things i was more comfortable with. i thought at least one performance content had to be there, and another where i could talk about the music, so in the end I just did about three. i never really said this before, but i know it must’ve felt lacking for you guys, and i also know a lot of you were upset with the company. but… saying it was because of time, that’s just an excuse. if i really wanted, i could’ve done more. i guess i just don’t have that much greed for those things. of course, i know you might feel differently, but i told the company i’d take care of whatever schedule they set, and that’s just how it ended up. honestly, i just really wanted to focus on the album itself. 🫳🐻

This couple is having a wedding that will reflect who they are. They openly don’t seem to care if anyone will actually go or not. I think weddings are a celebration for everyone to join in for a special day. But I also think that offending guests before they even go might be a decision that will turn in a decision full of regret. So here’s my take on this. The way I see it is that they are going to be disappointed. I know others might argue and say that it’s selfish for the guests to not go because of the conditions set forth by the bride and groom, however it goes both ways. If they know guests won’t like the conditions of the wedding, then maybe they should compromise a little. I think they should give people options. I feel that this is going to show the bride and groom who is actually their real friends and who aren’t in their eyes. They won’t care if the guests don’t like the wedding rules, they are going to expect them to go because they think that their attendance shows that they care and that they are local.

An old story on happiness that I can’t stop thinking about… A teacher asked her students to write their names on balloons and release them into the room. She then asked them to find the balloon with their name on it, but none of them could. She then asked them to take the first balloon they found and give it to the person whose name was on it. A customer watched in horror as their car left the showroom floor only to scrape the whole side of the car against the door. At this point the paperwork was already signed and the customer was just waiting for it to be moved from the showroom floor. I remember buying a car and they left it in the showroom instead of moving it to the delivery area to protect it. I ended up getting it a week later and when I inspected the car I noticed new scratches and a spill in the interior that wasn’t wiped up too well, I could still smell the coffee that was spilled. When I went to do the paperwork I asked what were they doing about the fresh damage. Since they failed to protect the car, it wasn’t even in the same new condition than when I agreed to purchase. I understand they were going to wash it but scratches don’t wash away. They offered me a detail but something told me that wasn’t good enough, I wanted more. Fortunately since I’ve bought other cars before from them they offered me another car but it would be a few weeks to get in. In the long run I ended up going that route, I didn’t want a new car that needed buffed out already. I am quite picky about the cars I buy and I want the least amount of damage possible, no chips or dings and swirl marks. I only take delivery on perfect cars. Is that asking too much? Or am I just being difficult. The way I see it is cars aren’t cheap and I want the best possible, can’t blame fame for that.
