White Afrikaner schools are the best schools in South Africa, because parents invest time, money, skills & resources over-and-above paying schoolfees. Most Black parents with means simply take their kids to expensive private schools, but don't volunteer nor donate beyond that.

This baseball tournament turned into chaos. This tournament is for the kids!Look at the parents. It’s like some ghetto barroom brawl. 🤯 When will parents learn that they are not only embarrassing themselves but they are embarrassing their kids. Glad there were some civil people there trying to break it up. This is why that woman sits in the outfield! And why I sit away too. That’s just crazy. No one has time for that! Have you ever seen adults go at it at a kid’s game? What are they thinking?

According to the Illinois State Board of Education, only 1 in 3 CPS elementary students are proficient in reading and only 1 in 5 are proficient in math. Our kids need more time in the classroom, not less, yet Chicago parents are being asked for their kids to lose another day of school on May 1st for a political Day of Action. Parents and kids rely on schools for learning and consistency. Closing schools will send parents scrambling for babysitters or losing wages to stay home to care for their kids. For some kids, schools are where they get their meals and are the safest place they’ll be that day. As a CPS mom, I have skin in the game and expect my son to be in school where he belongs on May 1st. Keep Chicago’s students in the classroom, parents at work, and focus on the city’s test scores, not its politics. #chicago
