Ten years ago I got to entertain the dream builders of Hollywood. The architects of the story. Today I review the epic film inception. And I think I give insight into it that isn’t in other movie reviews.

Before Leonardo DiCaprio was cast, INCEPTION was closer to what TENET would become, technical and less character-driven. When DiCaprio came on board, Emma Thomas says movie became “less of a puzzle and more of a character story audiences could connect”

Afghanistan has been a screwed-up country for the past 45 years. Mohammad Qasim Fahim, a former warlord from Norther Alliance, is the symbol of the corruption and warlordism that eventually caused the collapse of the fragile republic. Mr. Fahim hit the jackpot when 9/11 happened. CIA agents brought dollars in suitcases to purchase him while he was up for auction. Later millions of more dollars flooded the country, and he had the entire country in his back pocket. He was the most influential figure and by far more powerful than President Karzai himself. Karzai was forced to award him the Marshal title for his warlordism services. During the newly created republic in Afghanistan, he and his allies were so powerful that they could do anything they wanted without anyone in the country challenging them. Basically, he was a govt within the govt. He stole government lands in Kabul's prime area of Shirpoor and people's private property belonging to Afghan Hindus and distributed them as gifts & war spoils among his gang. The story didn't end there. When he expired, his dead corpse stole the most scenic govt land to accommodate his grave. This republic, which lasted 20 years, was founded on corruption, lawlessness, and disregard for national interests. Therefore, the republic was doomed to fail at its inception. End of story!

🚨 DJ Akademiks Calls Out Rob Markman And Other Journalists Over What He Says Is “Half-Assed” Coverage Of Major Stories 👀🎙️📚 DJ Akademiks responded to Rob Markman and criticized what he describes as a growing problem within hip-hop journalism: covering major allegations when they first break, but losing interest once new information begins challenging the original narrative. According to Akademiks, if journalists choose to cover a lawsuit, investigation, or trial when allegations are first made public, they should also continue following the story as new evidence, court filings, and developments emerge. 🗣️ Akademiks: “If you never said ‘Stake, Akademiks, Drake, Adin Ross out of your mouth, I wouldn’t ask you to follow up on the story. But you presented the story at its very inception.” Akademiks argued that journalists shouldn’t stop covering a story simply because later developments don’t fit the narrative they initially reported. He also took aim at Rob Markman, Loren LaRosa, Mark Lamont Hill, and other media personalities, questioning what he considers their lack of investigative reporting. 🗣️ Akademiks: “When I think about journalism, I think about investigative shit. None of y’all do that.” Akademiks contrasted traditional media personalities with independent creators and YouTubers, arguing that many independent journalists are willing to read court documents, examine dockets, connect information, and spend hours researching cases. He specifically praised creators such as Flakko, Trap Lore Ross, and What’s The Dirt? for what he described as putting more effort into researching and breaking down complicated stories. 🗣️ Akademiks: “Break a fucking story. Investigate some shit. Actually, don’t do what they do. Go look at a docket. Do some Googles.” Akademiks said this is especially important when covering ongoing lawsuits and criminal trials because stories can evolve dramatically after the initial allegations. He used the Stake-related litigation as an example, arguing that several developments including arbitration issues, court filings, and disclosures received far less attention than the original allegations. 🗣️ Akademiks: “How come y’all journalists, but y’all don’t even have the information to correct inaccurate shit?” Akademiks ultimately argued that audiences are increasingly turning toward independent media because they believe those creators are willing to dig deeper into stories instead of simply reposting headlines or reacting to information already circulating online. 🗣️ Akademiks: “The real journalists these days that put the work in is the YouTubers.” Akademiks emphasized that he doesn’t consider himself a traditional journalist, but believes his willingness to research documents and follow stories from beginning to end gives him an advantage when discussing complicated legal and media stories.

a16z GP Anish Acharya says three years ago, ideas were too ambitious. Today, they're too small. "In the old days, which is three years ago, we would see a company, and if what they were trying to do was too ambitious, we would not engage. Just too crazy, too complex." "Implied by that is you wouldn't do a $100 million seed because it's too much money for almost any problem. It's too much money for any person to actually manage... It doesn't make sense as an inception round." "Today we're almost seeing the opposite problem, where an idea that's too small is not something that we want to engage with." "You can talk about how you put $100 million to work in a seed productively. I'm not recommending you raise $100 million, but this sort of no ceiling on ambition is showing up in how we're picking companies." "When we invest, we tell every founder, 'We're here to help you build the strongest form of your vision.' Marc told me... the way we told our story when we were raising our first fund was, 'We were going to the moon, or we were going to leave a moon-sized crater in the ground, and there was no other option.' That's how we want to work with our founders as well." Anish Acharya w/ Lenny Rachitsky

The Wings of Eagles (1957), starring John Wayne, Dan Dailey and Maureen O'Hara. Directed by John Ford. According to director John Ford, “Everything in the picture was true. The fight in the club (featured in this video clip) ― throwing the cake ― actually happened. I can verify that as an eyewitness. I ducked it. And the plane landing in the swimming pool right in the middle of the Admiral's tea ― that really happened.” The Wings of Eagles is based on the life of Frank “Spig” Wead and the history of U.S. Naval aviation from its inception through World War II. The film is a tribute to Wead (who died 10 years earlier, in 1947 at age of 52) from his friend, director John Ford, and was based on Wead's “We Plaster the Japs”, published in a 1944 issue of The American Magazine. John Wayne plays naval aviator-turned-screenwriter Wead, who wrote the story or screenplay for such films as Hell Divers (1931) with Wallace Beery and Clark Gable, Ceiling Zero (1936) with James Cagney, and the Oscar-nominated World War II drama They Were Expendable (1945) in which Wayne co-starred with Robert Montgomery. The supporting cast features Ward Bond, Ken Curtis, Edmund Lowe and Kenneth Tobey. This film was the third of five in which Wayne and O'Hara appeared together; others were Rio Grande (1950), The Quiet Man (1952), McLintock! (1963) and Big Jake (1971).

What was once a vision to create a reliable platform offering free, direct access to accurate, relevant information about opportunities and projects in the Web3 ecosystem, sourced straight from the founders themselves through in-depth interviews has now become a reality. Today, Founders Corner proudly celebrates one year of turning that vision into success. Yet, since inception of this dream-come-true project, we've continued to grow relentlessly, without pause, fueled by our passion for connecting you with the future of Web3. In our first month of launching Founders Corner, we proudly celebrated reaching 180 subscribers. Just five months later, we surpassed 300 active subscribers. Your interactions with our info-contents and your unflinching loyalty by spreading the gospel which in turn has attracted more subscribers to Founders Corner plays a huge part in our success story today.

Christians, I want you to ask yourself some uncomfortable questions. Have you ever noticed that in every society where Jews have gained significant power, Christianity immediately comes under attack? In medieval England, after Jews gained economic power, the pattern of exploitation led to their expulsion in 1290. In Tsarist Russia, when Jewish influence exploded during the Bolshevik Revolution, the Red Terror followed, led by figures like Trotsky, Yagoda, Zinoviev, and Kamenev. Tens of thousands of priests were murdered, churches were burned, and Christianity was nearly wiped out. The perpetrators then blamed “the Russians.” In the Ottoman Empire, crypto-Jewish Dönmeh networks helped fuel the Young Turks. The result? 1.5 million Armenian Christians slaughtered in the genocide. In America today, Jewish organizations led the legal effort to ban school prayer and Bible reading in the 1960s. They were the driving force behind the 1965 Hart-Celler Act that ended immigration from Christian Europe. Major Jewish donors and groups are now helping install radical Muslims like Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York. Why does this pattern repeat across centuries and continents? They master the art of victimhood. They use historical suffering to gain sympathy and moral authority. Then they convert that sympathy into real institutional power. Once in power, they immediately begin dismantling Christian culture through legislation, media, academia, and when they have total control outright violence. The strategy is consistent: they rarely do the dirty work themselves. They elevate proxies and crypto-Jews. • In Russia, they used Bolsheviks to kill Christians, then blamed Russians. • In Turkey, they used Turks to kill Christians. • In America, they use Muslims, leftists, and secular progressives to attack Christian norms while they pull the strings from behind. This isn’t random. Modern Judaism, from its very inception after the rejection of Christ, has defined itself in opposition to Christianity. The pattern we see today is simply the latest chapter in a very old story. Christians, look at the pattern with clear eyes. Every time this network gains power, Christianity loses ground culturally, legally, demographically, and sometimes physically. The question isn’t whether the pattern exists. The question is why so many Christians continue to support, defend, and send money to the very people actively working to erase their faith and civilization. Open your eyes. The pattern is ancient. The consequences are predictable. It’s time to choose.
