This is absolute nonsense. There are many thousands of objectively provable cases where a man was falsely accused of assault or rape. This is what we call gaslighting and victim shaming. She is shaming victims of false accusations to downplay the fact that it happens. If someone has been falsely accused, then it’s only logical to assume they’ll be fearful after that of having it happen again. After all, someone can get a hefty sentence in some contexts with very little to no real evidence against them. There are many cases where men have served 10 years or so and then are freed after the accuser later admits it was made up a decade or so after the fact. This is just as much victim shaming as someone who shames a women for being raped because she ‘deserved it.’

If a woman is “under the influence” and has sex it is considered sexual assault. But if a man is “under the influence” and has sex he is not sexually assaulted. And, if both are under the influence and have sex the woman is still the one sexually assaulted. Saw it too many times in the military. Ridiculous.

I have personally witnessed two corporate investigations of sexual harassment claims proven to be false. Both times, women accuses their direct manager of harassments after repeated incidents of demonstrated technical incompetence leading to serious customer impact and resulting financial compensation claims, resulting in write ups and PIPs.
