I always thought of Andor as more cold war espionage star wars. And clone wars as more GWOT, republic trying to win hearts and minds, slightly corrupt military super power arming local militias to fight.

I mean Andor is all about different types of resistances and insurgencies, but this scene specifically is pretty much a recreation of a squad of GWOT soldiers deploying from their aircraft into a hostile civilian populace, attempting a snatch and grab and having it go wrong

I also love the bit in rogue one where the convoy thing gets jumped and it's complete fucking chaos because theres dudes behind buildings and on rooftops and in the streets and randoms are mixed in so nobody knows who's friendly and they're just shooting in all directions

Kyle Soller plays the Imperial bureaucrat obsessed with hunting down Andor. He is the same actor who plays the Russian assassin working for the GRU in *Slow Horses*, season 6. An excellent actor.

Isn't the whole point of shows like this to see that the rebels really aren't one organized group. The trilogy is just the biggest group. But there are other groups who can be more terrorist seeming from the Empires point of view.
