We need to radically rewire our economy and getting taxes down is central to that mission. BUT we will only be able to achieve that if we have fiscal responsibility at the heart of everything we do. NEVER AGAIN will we sacrifice that. Labour are badly mismanaging our economy. Reform offer only fantasy economics. It falls to the Conservative Party to stand up for fiscal discipline and economic stability. The road ahead is tough but we are up for the challenge. We believe in our country and we will deliver the right choices based on serious, responsible leadership.

Justin Thomas was asked about his group getting put on the clock: "We just didn't really agree with it. ... The hard part to me with the whole pace of play thing is that you, there's so much that goes into golf and there's so much that goes into hole to hole in terms of, are you hitting it close, are you able to tap it in, or you have to mark it, stuff like that, to where, are you holding the group up or are you not, to where it's very hard to make that call. They're the only other country that has the talent, the resources, and the technology expertise to basically beat us in AI. Our mainstream culture is conflict-avoidant. There is the assumption that the less conflict there is in a relationship, the better it is. I disagree. If there is real intimacy, conflict is actually unavoidable. Because we are all different. The real indicator of health in a relationship isn’t the lack of conflict, it is the quality of our repair. It is the level of authenticity we can bring. That requires knowing how to be with conflict and disagreement, how to hold nuance. And it also requires practicing the art of repairing. Are we willing to show up and repair what we broke? Do we have the skills and capacity required for that? Avoiding conflict means avoiding truth and therefore avoiding real intimacy. This work is essential and transcends the personal. If we aren't capable of dealing with conflict in our own personal lives, it is no wonder that the world is in the state it is, where the most prevalent conflict management strategy is escalation.
